@mtuck5150 very true, i would probably have both amps.. but after seeing your review on the bugera im starting to save up for that now, it looks like a really good amp!
I played along with the track on my ipod headphones. Then copied the vid over to my PC and opened it in Windows Movie Maker. I then added the mp3 as a track. You can visually line the track to the vid up. Then render it as a new file. I now use a much better camera and have since graduated to Sony Vegas to edit my vids, but same principle.
I chose the v30/h30 because I live in a townhouse and can't crank it too loud. The H30 lets me get more bottom end punch at lower volumes. Additionally, the cab is a 3/4 open back, which also helps me to get a nice open tone at lower volumes.
Part 1 of my answer: although I think you get the idea what my tone is in the vids, keep in mind this vid was done on a little $75 Wal-Mart camcorder. As you can see, my amp is across the room from the mic, and my fat ass is standing between them.
For a better sample of my amps tone, check out my other vid "Peavey 6505+ (Somebody Get Me a Doctor)," which was done with no track and with a mic much closer to the cab. As far as my real-life tone is concerned, it's unbelievable. The 6505+ and my simple G-Major and my Avatar cab are quite a team.
is it just the video quality or is this verson not quite as clean? amp wise i would be speaking.
nosmoking099 1 year ago
@nosmoking099 it's not all that fair to over-compare because the mic quality on this one was simply horrible

how does the v30/h30 compare with full v30s cab?

bowo89's reply to my answer was accidentally deleted (sorry bowo89). He asked how my real life tone compares to how it sounds in my vids.
