your first few months at college are gonna be easy because it's like the transitioning period between HS and college. the profs do that on purpose. it WILL get harder. My first semester of college was like middle n HS school all over again (and Im going to a Private Vocational College). That was 2yrs ago. now I actually have to focus in class or im gonna b totally lost and end up failing. Its good that ur an overacheiver, ur study habits Now will help you for the next 4yrs. HAVE FUN! :)

Transfer to a Catholic college, I don't think you would feel like the classes are easy. However you do seem to be a very intelligent young lady so that might be right at your level. :) Hey, how do you outline a text book?

@ThePurityGirl1 The students who go to the catholic college in my city are SO intelligent. Like, their jokes and conversations are lightyears above the ones I have with the students at my expensive private college. So different. I wouldn't want to go to that school, though because you're required to take a lot of unnecessary classes religion, english & philosophy classes -- well maybe that's why those kids are so smart hah!

@TheDalmatian951 community college* people do that because they didn't get accepted the first time they applied when they were in high school. there are probably other reasons, too, but i can't remember any right now. xD

Everybody is very independent, so they don't talk much.....I felt the same exact way when I started college but you'll get used to it :) Usually the older peeps are better to make friends with because they are more dependable but if they don't get the subject......then yeah, look for others because they will slow you down =X I hope this helps somewhat.....but don't worry this happens to everyone.

They're called ESL (english as a second language) students. LOL. I totally have seen you @ City! I know what you mean about feeling overqualified. I came from a private high school, and I was surprised to see the difference. CCSF is awesome though!

@luvregii Yes, i do have to pay for classes ! It's by units. Each class is a different amount of units. The more important ones are 4-5 units, and the less important ones are 3. At my city college, it's only 26$ per unit !
