I think thats why he moves so much, it helps him keeping rythm. Don't feel bad because you can't, it's one of the hardest things to my mind ~ concentrate on two things at the same time. Keep trying. : )

Tapping your foot, moving to the rythm, closing your eyes, feeling it.. those are the best advice I can give when it comes to learning how to sing while playing. It's more difficult to some than to others. Personally I don't find it that hard on the guitar, but I'm still learning on the piano.. :) It's not that bad when just tapping chords, but if it requires more intense and complex moves, the difficulty increases!
