@Eurafrican Thank you for saying that Portuguese is "exquisite" it makes us very proud, some Portuguese who red your commentary misunderstood the word "exquisite", because in Portuguese exquisite means strange, even in the old days it had same meaning that in English or Spanish: great, perfect! Realmente é engraçado! A minha mãe, que era estrangeira, quando veio para Portugal dava umas calinadas bem giras! Uma delas foi "éxte xántár éxtá muitu éxkisitu, ôbrrigádá"! Ficou tudo de trombas até terem percebido, que o que a minha mãe estava a querer dizer era "este jantar tem muito requinte", que é a tradução portuguesa do "exquisit" anglo-saxónico-germânico! Também falou uma vez de "putas bêbadas na cozinha", querendo dizer que tinham, em vivo, enchido de vinho o perú de natal!
