@slayr399 Both soundtracks are by Hans Zimmer, and I've found that most of his stuff sounds at least a little bit alike, so your thought process was pretty much on track. :)

I read some article, guys and I think that they´ve always wanted Jack to die at the end or they´ve always wanted him to die from season 3 when Matthew Fox found out this information. It´s cruel but it´s clear, I think.

It was in some article called Lost ending explained by some writer of Lost.
