  • good thing Tanya's the one we most remeber singing this, Fievel can barely hold a note.

  • Every single song is making me sob here uncontrollably. They all had a special effect on my life. Now if Once Upon A December from Anastasia was included I would've cried for hours.

  • @Kalivex I'm thinking about seeing Anastasia. Some people online horrified me by calling it a "musical comedy", though. I can't find it here on YouTube and that description has me too turned off to go out and buy it without seeing it first. What are your thoughts on it?

  • @AstralDragoon It is an amazing classic to me. It is a musical with bits of comedy in it but it isn't stupid funny. It is clever comedy. It is a great love story jam packed with mystery and magic. Please watch it. Its such an underrated gem.

  • @Kalivex Fabulous; the "stupid funny" was what I was afraid of, so thank you for the input. It's hard to know what to think when getting such strange information from other sources. I'll look into getting a copy.

  • @AstralDragoon Thank you so much! I love converting people! It is totally worth it.

  • @Kalivex Glad to hear it. However, if by conversion you were referring to similar family films, you should know that I already love animated movies and own several of them, including some of the ones shown here. Anastasia is one that I've had an interest in seeing for many years, but my journey back into the classics only began recently.

  • I hate that woman so much who's mean to Penny!

  • @vegasgal9 Yeah, Madame Medusa? She's gross.

  • the girl in the first clip- ive never seen that movie but that is the voice of Ducky from The Land Before Time

  • @lakota246 That movie is All Dogs Go To Heaven. : )

  • These are some of my favorite movies. Just the other day I was thinking about watching these movies. AND seriously 2 minutes ago I was wondering what the An American Tale song was called. I couldn't remember the name of the movie. Then I found this video on accident and thought why not watch it. That's scary stuff right there.

  • @MakiaLink That's because it is. They reused the movements and just put on a different background.

  • Man... EVERYTIME I see this scene, I want waffles SOOO BAD!

  • something I just noticed...the two deer at 3:42-3:48, doesn't that look like the meadow scene from bambi?

  • Don Bluth worked on all of these films except for Winne the Pooh's Grand Adventure. Can you tell? I love it, even though I'm crying, Woot! *sobs* :')

  • I want Goodbye may seem Forever played at my funeral.

  • AWWW

poor Judith Barsi may she rest in peace :(

  • I loved those movies. But gah thats depressing!

  • As soon as I saw the fox and the hound clip I went "Oh God not this one!" and proceeded to bawl uncontrollably.

  • this is an amazing and sad song

  • after the whinnie the pooh, i was thinking about the fox and the hound. lol and then it came up... ^^

  • I love the emotion you get from the old movies. After learning about the life of Judith Barsi (the girl who plays Ann Marie) I cannot listen to the song without crying. She was originally supposed to sing it herself but because her father was so abusive she couldn't get though it herself. May she rest in peace with her dear mother.

  • that scene with the waffles ALWAYS made me hungry X__X and the song from The Rescuers makes me cry all the time

  • ooh! that animate movies are awesome i an 17 and i steel whatch this movies whenever i have a chance espesialy those songs are soo heart taching

  • Makes me wanna be a kid..whenever everything was innocent. Makes me sad.

  • "Wherever you are" does not have the clip with the song but if you DID see the clip with the song you might bawl your eyes out. I mean, I cannot BELIEVE how dark "pooh's grand adventure: the search for christopher robin" is. When I was a kid that movie...just...GOD...

  • Thank you. This made me so happy. It's always so refreshing to be reminded of those beautiful pieces of innocence that were once with us.

  • What is Pooh doin singin such a sad song?

  • Wait. In that first song from ADGtH, is there MONEY in that wallet? Ann Marie, you are holding out on us!

  • @PepinaBailarina It is the wallet that Charlie stole

  • is it sad that i still cry over the fox and the hound song? EVERY TIME

  • @Ryu7490 no way! if something's sad you should cry. i still cry at it and several Disney movies and i'm 19. if a movie makes you cry than it's a good movie

  • may someone give me the name of this movies i really want to watch it? Please and thank-you :} ASAP

  • @Angel4everDark all dogs go to heaven, an american tale, the rescuers, the many adventures of winnie the pooh, and the fox and the hound

  • ASAP

  • once upon a time in new york city isnt as sad UNLESS you are watching the vid.. cuz what happens just grabs your heart

  • Dangit, Winnie the Pooh got me :( The one I was least suspecting to get me! ;~;

    *cries*

  • o drat i hadnt realized till it started that the pooh song wasnt the actual clip.. too bad. the clip would have made you sob lol

  • great mix.... though it is slightly depressing...T.T

  • iam crying, what a sweet voice?! she looks like my younger sister ...... :-(

  • You could also put Oliver and Company "Good Company" and The Hunchback of Notre Dame "God Help the Outcast", just to name a few.

  • "Good Company" is a cheerful song.

  • It is both cheerful and sad, especially when you know your pet won't be with you forever. Yet, we'll always be good company...

  • I was doing fine until the Fox and the Hound, it never fails T.T

  • homely is plain or ugly

  • omg!!!

I hated that fox and hound song!!! OMG!! I remmber wathcinnthis as a kid an d SOBBING!!!! Now im grown and STILL sobbing!!!! YOU STUPID OLD BITCH!! DX!!!! *BAWLS*

  • What does homely mean? i forgot someone tell me pweese

  • ugly

  • that did it. now i'm -i'm *cries* cr-cr-y-yin-ng-g.

    those songs get me everytine.

  • Oh my goodness, the Fox and The Hound... I'm crying so much right now, I just watched that bit 3 times, and I'm still crying! This was lovely!

  • OMG i know.

i watched the real scene and I was sobbing my face off.

First disney movie that made me cry...

    WAAAAAAHHH

  • Very good list.

  • The one on this list that definately brings me a tear everytime in "Wherever you Are" from Pooh's Grand Adventure. It's so sad because Pooh truly believes that Christopher's gone forever.

  • Very beautiful, even though I didn't know the first and 4.

    Fave :D

  • First is from All Dogs Go To Heaven, always makes me cry. Especially now that I'm grown and know what happened to the little girl who did the voice. Her father killed her shortly after the movie was recorded :o(

  • ohmygod WHY?!?!?!

( i never saw that movie)

  • her father killed her???

    She had a beautiful voice.

    what was her name?

  • where did you read this info?

    got proof?

  • Just look up her name. It's all over. Judith Barsi...just type her name in YouTube search and you'll find many video dedications.

  • yea that makes me sad too, she also did ducky's voice from land before time...its horrible what some people can do

  • ??? what what ??? wat hapend toho wen and whare ho is she?

  • The Fox and the Hound never fails to make me cry... =(

  • Same here; and that seem from the movie "Dumbo" when he finally gets a moment if is locked up mother.

  • @GearRocks I thought that would be on the list for sure! It's called 'Baby Mine' if you wanted to look it up.

  • @xshocking it makes me cry too!:(

  • @xshocking I know exactly what you mean

  • The Fox and the Hound song is the worst one, as in, it's the most emotional one. Horrible really. But it's even more depressing when it's put with the actual scene. T~T'

  • I always cry when I listen to the Rescuers' song...

  • All Dogs Go to Heaven!! OMG!! I havent seen that movie in years. So many memories...

But it's hard for me to watch knowing what happened to that little gir in real life...

  • same here....but she's in Heaven where her dad can't hurt her.

  • Wait...What happened?

  • I have yet to hear "goodbye may seem forever" without crying... and I've seen that movie like a hundred times

  • I love these songs. They always make me cry.

  • aaah, the song from Fox and the Hound always makes me cry, lol. These are all songs from such wonderful and timeless movies. I miss them all! <3 Thanks for posting and keepin the memories alive!

  • ooh i didnt realize that "somewhere out there" was in the original american tale. I first saw it in the American Tale: Fievel Goes West movie, and fell in love with it...but this version is good too :)

  • oh man, The Fox and the Hound and All Dogs go to Heaven always break me with those songs. :'(

  • I wonder how phillip Gasser, who was another actor in a don Bluth film, An american tail, to be exact, Thought of Judith Barsi.

  • OH MY GOD!!!! What are you tryin ti do to me?!?! This is so so saaaad! I cant even THINK about fox and the hound without crying! So good though, well done *sniff*

  • is "All Dogs go to Heaven" a religeous movie?

  • Not really. Watch it, but keep a box of tissues with you!!!

  • @navatarfan23 no. But it is EXCELLENT. It is my most favorite animated movie, hands down.

  • ._. Suddenly... I feel really sad...;;

  • Just to make things even sadder - the little girl who voiced Anne Marie was murdered by her father not long after All Dogs was made. :( RIP.

  • She was killed along with her mother, even before the movie was released. Such an absolute tragedy. In fact the song Love Survives (the theme song of the movie) was reportedly recorded in her memory.

  • Just as a little sidenote, I believe she also did the voice for Duckie in TLBT. I don't know if someone mentioned that, but if they did, Im sorry for the repeat!

  • :O Do I see Bambi?

  • uh....

  • 3:43! Doesn't that look EXACTLY like Bambi and his mom?

Of course, it could be just a random doe and her fawn but I know Disney likes to make refrences to their older movies in other movies, so I thought that might be Bambi.

    If that makes sense.

  • yea i thought it looked like the scene when Bambi is chomping at the new spring grass and the mother is looking up because she heard MAN

  • ITS BAMBI! =0 DUDE! She got shot at pennys place? That makes it 5000 times as sad! I believe you are right though, that's way to exact not to be them....*sobs* I heard all these except winnie the pooh, disney happiest place on earth....happy like a TRUCK to the heart!

  • 'Goodbye may seem forever' reminds me so much of my Grandmother who died when I was a kid...even more so because she had bought me and my sister a Fox and Hound book.

  • this was sad stuff:'( you did a great job;)

  • I was trying not to cry through these!!! thank you so much for posting these!! :3

  • what'r u trying to make me cry>? Well u succeeded, very emotional stuff

  • Oh God, I LOVE "Goodbye May Seem Forever," "Wherever You Are," & "Soon You'll Come Home"...;_; :*}

  • Interesting how during Pooh's song, with all the different clips, you can see the differences in quality between the three main sources of footage: the stuff made by the real Disney studio in the '60s and '70s, that TV show made by Japanese crews-for-hire during the '80s, and the '90s/'00s direct-to-video movies made by other crews-for-hire. The footage keeps alternating between all three. The differences in the animation really jump out at you.

  • god damn i didnt relize how depressing thos movies i watche as a child were :(

  • oh please stop making me cry, its so cuteeeee

  • 5- Somewhere out there

    4- Soon you'll come home

    3- Wherever you are

    2- Goodbye may seem forever

    1- Someone's waiting for you

    My opinion

    =)

  • God, I loved all of these movies when I was a kid. I miss them so much! I can't wait till I have kids. There's no way I'll let them watch any of the crap from nowadays. I'll make sure they'll grow up on this stuff. The good stuff.

  • ever notice how Ann Marie looks like snow white?

  • @sephirothjenova1200 yeah you know she does.

  • Wow... every single song relates to my life right now...

Thanks for this vid, its awesome

  • I always cry at Fox and Hound, and I see I aint the only one.

    but I am 18

  • @Rocknrollgirlbabe hun i'm 19 and i still cry at that movie! some movies are just that good that you cant help but cry. i just watched The Lion King last night and at Mufasa's death scene i still cried.

  • god, i remember this film, i loved it as child <3 naaaaw, flashbacks

  • This is the sweetest thing I have ever seen! WONDERFUL

  • I agree with you here. Watching this just melts your heart. Back when TV was still a happy and Clean, nice thing to watch.
