would that cam still work even if you had some roller rockers? I have that same cam and I have Cobra roller rockers on there, and i'm afraid it would be too much lift.
@s14sr Show the proof ? What are you the HCI police. Everything is a lie to you unless you see it with your eyes. God damn it you tube you stroke. Thats better know as OPEN loop, meaning its not hot yet, way to spout that mouth assfuck
@s14sr Ive never in my entire life heard of it, or even seen it refered to as COLD loop. Tell me how that makes sense in todays cars when they all have heated O2's and reach closed loop within mintues, that would still be cold, right.
The Split pattern of the TFS cams make more power than the old school FMS "letter" cams. The larger lift/duration on the exhaust lobes helps the Ford heads work better. I have the same cam in my GT40 headed 5.0 That I am getting ready to install in my 88. I have the E-303 in my current original 5.0 in the car. They do sound very similar.
flows. good improvement over stock, fun to drive, lots of torque down low. but i already swapped them out for RPM's, same cam. less torque down low, but pulls much better up top, much faster. no times.

i heard you dont have to change the valves on the gt40p's and a tfs stage 1 cam
ez2memorize 2 years ago
Change the valves? You should change the valve springs!!
lxman1 2 years ago
Should definitely get better valve springs. Valve float is no good. ^_^

I run CompCams valve springs on my ported GT40's.

Why not the e303 instead??

tfs-1 has more lift on the exhaust side than the e. I think it is a better cam.
