yeah he is generally very good. flawless technique. but his solos are not as melodically pleasing as he thinks. some of them sounds like he put together a series of exercises (arpeggio, sweeping, tapping, string skipping, etc.) and made a solo out of them. No disrespect intended, this works for some people, and he is absolutely brilliant, disciplined. I would however rather listen to Randy or Yngwie.
