  • i have really sensitive skin..whatever i put on my skin it soaks it up! i hope this works!

  • This stuff is such a waste of money. I had MORE pimples than when I started, it bleached everything (T-shirts, towels, pillows, bed sheets) and you can't go out in the sun for too long.

  • @chrissy15101 I agree. Some people do see great results from this stuff. I'm one that didn't. MEH! lol

  • @LoveConquersAllFears

Proactiv did not end up working out for me. It got rid of some breakouts, but in the end after 3 months of use, it did not work for me. I just ended up speaking to my Dr who prescribed me a topical cream. Rule of thumb, if it doesn't show positive progress within 30-45 days, it's not really going to do much more. Hope it works out for you though!!!

  • Does Proactiv help with reducing reddness, cause that's what i suffer from too,and acne

  • @jacobhrndz Per my experience -- no, it did not. It cleared up what i had on my forehead and deep cystic acne I had, but left everything else. It wasn't until I spoke to my Dr and got a topical cream that I saw some results. I would REALLY suggest you try to see your Dr FIRST! I pay WAY less for my prescription that lasts me 3 months vs Proactiv's $30 - $50 stuff that lasts 1.

  • Hydroquinone and Retin-A is the best:)

  • i need this stuff... i will check on with my dermatologist as a last resort like u... T_T

  • Your skin does look amazing in all your videos! I have horrible rosacea that makes it look like my cheeks are sunburnt all the time. If i barely touch my cheek it flares up; embaressing. Ive tried everything otc and prescription for it. I need help with a foundation routine. Ive tried it all. Usually end up with a bad makeup line bc i have to use foundatiob 3 times darker than my skin just to cover it :/

  • @darcybaltzer91 Have you tried using a light foundation/tinted moisturizer that matches your skin tone on your entire face, then using a stippling brush with a full coverage foundation just on your cheeks?

  • @darcybaltzer91 And thank you for the kind words on my skin. =) It's truly the lighting and makeup that help my skin look more flawless than it truly is.

  • *******warning do not buy Proactiv online at proactiv.com. they rip people off. just charging your credit card. you can do research online, proactiv scam, u will see what i'm talking about.

  • @laughtubeever I got mine at the kiosk at the mall and asked why it was "cheaper" online/tv. It's pretty much shipping difference and yes, the fact that they charge your card monthly for a monthly supply. I wanted to see if it even worked for me, before committing to a monthly payment. Obviously, I made the right choice for me. =)

  • I saw the promotion of the system on TV. I actually decided to buy the product tomorrow. But it seems like it's not effective. I'm afraid my skin will get even worse. :(

  • @assiren18 It will really just depend on your skin-type and whether your acne/breakouts are hormonal or not. Mine got a LITTLE better, but not enough to make it worth the price. I ended up going to my Dr and getting a prescription which has truly helped me. I hope it works for you though!!! Stay positive!!

  • @kristalblair I have used Calamine lotion in the past and no good. Thank you for your suggestion though! I actually saw my Dr about my skin since this video -- recently, actually. I will update soon with what I'm using and how's it's been working for me. =)

  • are you still using the system? it severely broke me out when i stopped using it. btw i have oily/acne prone/sensitive skin.

  • @dimplezpink I am not using the system anymore. It never ended up fully clearing up my skin, even after a little over 3 months of using it. I didn't break out horribly after I stopped using it, actually. I did start using The Body Shop's Tea Tree line and that stuff was HORRIBLE for my skin!! Right now I am still trying to clear it from the damage the Tea Tree Line has done. I'm still on the hunt. =)

  • @MakupStarlet please let me know if you find any that will work for you. for facial wash i've used the garnier scrub that has salicylic acid and it works fine.

  • @MakupStarlet what are you using now? :)

  • @dimplezpink I'll message you. I started typing a reply and it was getting LONG! lol!

  • i recently checked all the ingredients of my face products, makeup, etc. against a comedogenic list of ingredients and quickly eliminated a bag full of products that were clogging my pores and irritating my skin! to my surprise, cetaphil (both bottle cleanser and antibacterial bar) isn't good! try it, you may be surprised too!

  • @arianamar Thank you for your great advice! I really need to. I think my breakouts are all hormonal though, but whatever I can do to better my skin, i need to do.

  • Awesome video! I have been using Proactiv for the past month or so and I love it. I used to use it in my teens and then of course stopped in my early 20's because it's not cool to use acne products at that age. Anyways, I have bad skin texture from previous breakouts and scars that I got in my early 20's from stress. Back on Proactiv, I now wonder why I ever stopped. You have a really informative video, here, so thank you! And PS, I think you're gorgeous. lol I would kill to have your eyes :)

  • @rosemarylove86 You're too sweet! Thank you for taking the time to watch it and comment. For a while I was extremely discouraged. After this video, I brokeout a lot and was so ready to return the entire system. I'm still using the products and hope to record my 60 day update with MUCH better results. =D Hope you're having a great weekend!

  • have you tried the "acne.org" regimen? , i heard it works really well!, im planning on buying it (:

  • @xlove723 I've heard of that website and saw a video about using the same routine, but different products. I'll have to look into it more. Keep me updated if you end up buying anything, please!!

  • yes i am :) the one key that i found that helps more than anything else is when you use the first step, i barely touch my face. it shouldn't even feel like you are pushing when you use the cleanser. i do that for a good minute. that prevents my skin from turning red and i feel like it helps so much. consistency is key too! i can't believe the change that proactiv has made in my life!!

  • proactiv took a full 3 and a half months for it to work fully :) keep with it! it only gets better!!

  • @courtneytherunner13 I'm really hoping. =D Are you still using it?

  • Itried proactiv awhile back too, and it did the same as ur skin, instill got breakouts here nd there so ididn't repurchase it. But ifeel u on the just wear moisturizer nd go instead of the foundation nd concealer

  • @juhnettie Yeah, I always see girls talk about wonderful tinted moisturizers, but those are kind of a waste on my skin. =/

  • Dang girl, whatever foundation and concealer you're using must be awesome because in your other videos, you would never think that you had any kind of acne issues because your skin looks perfect! You should do a video on your foundation routine because whatever you're doing, its looks awesome.

  • @beautyjunkee I'm a FREAKIN' magician, Girl! BAHAHAHAHA!!!
