Red Alert 2 is incredibly awesome, so is Red Alert 3. I love all of the RA series they are just special and fun in their own way.

RA3 isn't all Singplayer fun but compared to RA2 and RA1 it's balanced multiplayer is fun as hell.

Really you should actually grow up, and stop judging the game by how it just looks...

1: The units have horribly short ranges.

2: I like the old resource gatherers and resource fields.

3: The submarines can be seen while submerged.

And finally, you need to grow up and stop judging other peoples opinions.

1. Short Ranges? DUDE! It was like that in RA2, if you want to play a game where units have longer ranges then try CnC 3, Red Alert just isn't for you.

2. I sorta agree on this one, but the new resource field is now more like from Generals and Warcraft 3, letting you focus on other battles than your resources.

3. It's the water which has this amazing realisic look, eventhough it does look realistic, the water is just too clean and clear, no dirt, I guess to hide those subs.

@TheMagicTrick That just depends on what amount of resources you start with. If you start with the max amount, then you could rush any number of expansions. But, be careful. this early resource tactic is vulnerable to an infantry rush. Be mindful of that, and you should be good.

my tactic....pound the fuck outta the enemies supply lines (e.g ore refineries and oil thingo's) then send in some aeroplanes to test teh flak level in the area, if minimal level bomb them with carpet bombers, then send in 10-20 tanks so mop up :D feedback of how it goes when you try 80% of the time it works for me :D

you can do this with 10k income in ranked matches, just dont build so many turrets and other unnecessary junk. also scrap the rocket angels all together

Problems with this:

You are not playing with standard rules, and therefore the strat is useless.

You use rocket angels. If you are going AIR why would build a 2500 credit tech building along with teching up your barracks, just so you can get a WEAKER and SLOWER air unit than the ones that you can get from a mecha bay without dishing out 2 and a half k for a mainframe core.

You play with a 3 ref build and yet, you have the tenacity to call this a rush.

You are a noob.

nice vid...but no offence or anything...it isnt a rush. a rush is when the game ends in 7 min or less. i have prefected the empire ground rush. look me up. in crazybadger, and i can defeat a brutal in 4 min 30 sec. lets face some time ;)

The Xploder guys aren't to great with their strat videos. All they do is tech&Turtle against the shittiest players I've ever laid eyes on, and they don't even elaborate on the strats. But you do it quiet nicely.
