i got this heli yesterday bat last 8-10 min very good for inside for hovering and doing small circles in room range is 20 meters takes 2 hours 2 charge batt if u really need to no voltage i can tell u but im 2 lazy 2 check i dont recoomend for out side unless you flying on a perfectly windless day

@drawer111 As long as you don't try to fly up a Negroes rectum, the range is 70 meters, 9 minutes battery, 35 minutes charge time.

how do you know when it is fully charged? i don't want to over-charge it and break the bettery

I have one of these and I am a seasoned pilot with eflight helis. My heli spins a little when I first fly it for the day and after a few clicks of the trim buttons, it hovers very well. Check out my vid of mine flying in my den.

Help!! I'm at my wit's end! Trim buttons? You kidding? Yeah, this does seem to be easy to get into the air, but I'm major plagued by a habitual clockwise spin that I can only correct by counteracting with the righ control nob. Because of fighting with this, I'm distracted from going forward and reverse because it constantly wants to spin. Those little buttons on the controller do NOTHING. I can press them all day, and nothing happens. Directions say turn a screw on the potentiometer. HuH???

I have one of these heli. But all it does is it spins around but doesn't ascend. Help anyone?

You need to trim it first.. all rc helis have to be trimmed.. maybe theres a special trimmer on your controller or otherwise there a potmeter in your canopy turn it left or right to make it just that it is almost clear from spinning.. when it spins it hasn't egough power to lift itself high

The trimmer on Remote control doesn't seem to do enough. I exactly have one of these from the video. Where is the potmeter exactly? Thanks

they are inside the canopy: little blue/white things.. you can adjust them with a screwdriver but my s001 will arive soon so then I maybe can help you futher

yeah probably just fo ppl who are new in rc flying and dont know the immer workings.. mine should arrive in a few days so ill take a look at it

yeah alot of ppl r getting them and i think its the best helicopter cause its just on my level. i want to fly it outside but the temperature is to low. it says in the instructions 50 or lower it will be damaged. i dont want to ruin it cause i got like 7 helis and 5 of them broke and i lost one

xheli sells all the spare parts for the Syma S001. I've got this and the S006 Alloy Shark and love'em both!

I have one, and the leg and other misc plastic part broke already, very fragile. I used glue to fix them, seems to work but not really stable anymore
