These people are a disgrace to our country. They have the unmitigated gall to propose a budget without numbersWhat exactly do they think a budget is? Further they have the nerve to try and defend this crap to the American people. Is it any wonder they lost so many contest on November 4, 2008. Then we have Michael Steele now saying everything hes said over the past month was all Strategic Jesus Christ. I was looking stupid on purpose just to see how you guys would react.
"Doctor No" has no new ideas. All this mutt can do is spout the same old partisan bullshit. It's long paste time that this dinosaur gets out of the way.
Here's my only problem, the dems may not be doing the right thing, but they are trying to do something, they are working at it. I can't say the same for the past 8 years of the republican administration.
He can't answer the question because he's a Republican and Republicans haven't had an original thought in...FOREVER!!!
I'm serious when I say that the only original thing the Republicans have come up with in the past 40 years is the War on Drugs and that's an utter and total failure...just look at what our War on Drugs is doing to the border towns of Mexico. The drug cartels are almost bigger and better equiped than the entire Mexican Armed Forces.
The Republican Party has become so marginalized so fast. It's their own fault, though. You can't just say "No no no" without contributing ANY ideas of your own other than "Cut taxes".
I think it's rather fitting that the Republicans are using that tactic. They're so old, senile, and out of touch with real America that they must believe their idol Ronald Reagan's message of "Just Say No" was about how to handle Democrats instead of Drug Dealers.
"It taxes too much, it spends too much it borrows too much"
I absolutely HATE that smug tone republicans use when they talk about money. As if they have the expertise of neurosurgeon talking about an aneurysm. How fucking DARE they! They know about as much as a 10 year old playing monopoly, and they see the economy one-dimensionally.
Well, that and their party is just one big business: The business of selling pipe dreams to suckers so they can all stay in power and stay rich.
Forget about them, I no longer bother to listen to them. They always say the same and it is always the same nonsense. Let Obama achieve HALF of what he promises and the Republicans will be finished.
Pipe dreams? Those are dreams. The GOP can only say nononononononono!!!! and throw a tantrum when the Dems won't listen to them. They have no dream to counter against Obama, who is just doing what others should have done through the last 50 years. All at once. Not a single new idea, he had
Wow, look at that lightning fast reversal. Its like a reflex now for republicans to not talk about themselves, and criticize democrats.
The unfortunate thing is that tactic has worked very well in the past, at several different occasions. People hate hearing republicans talk about themselves now, but they really eat up what they say about dems, and republicans know if they just keep it up, they will make people so disgusted with dems theyll vote them all out. Happens every time.
You may think your a prophet but you obviously haven't noticed the shift in the political landscape. Thanks to Bush and political shows like Real Time, Daily Show, and Colbert Report have reached out to Generation X & Y and they're paying attention and voting.
If the Republicans choose to go forward with their do-nothing plan we WILL see the Republican party follow in the footsteps of the Whig Party and die.
The Independants are going to take over the Republicans as the 2nd major party.
The republican administration of George Bush and his lackeys in congress turned their back on essential components of a 21st century America: infrastructure, alternative energy, stem cell research, comprehensive medical coverage, ad infinitum. All this in the name of protecting us from a petty dictator. It is time to clean house and sweep out all the regressive ideas.
Nobody even calls him out on the fact that much of the budget will actually save more money then is spent over the long term, lowering the deficit over time.
McConnel is appealing to conservatives who only look at the numbers as they are and dont think about what the numbers are connected to and why they are there.
Or they hear a title such as contraceptives and think its silly and stupid without thinking about how it will greatly reduce the cost on the system long term.
Republican morons, we are all on to your hypocrisy! You are the scoundrels of history, whom we only wish to see disappear into nothingness. You do not deserve a national platform to air your tired, failed ideology. Go away!
"...more than the previous administration spent after 9/11 on Iraq, Afghanistan and the 'response' to Katrina..." -- Well, thank God all that shit was so well taken care of. Maybe Republicans should step back, STFU, and watch their crisis' handled responsibly, mmmMitch!
Did not answer the question...just complaining as always.

Repubs have no new ideas because they have no new people. They don't have problems paying taxes they just like to call their preferred taxes "tithes".
Where are all of your "college repubs"... Did you ever wonder about the irony of "college repubs" attending state subsidized colleges????

Whatever Mitch, the only reason you even get to talk, or hold office is because your state has not yet moved into the 21st century.
