Donna made a lot of great rock records, from the electric "Our Love", Hot Stuff, the blues/rock/dance fusion track "Love Will Always Find You", "Cold Love" "Running For Cover" Highway Runner, Romeo, some terrific rock cuts that had a major ifluence on the direction of music.

I like the iconic representation of the "brother" on the funky bass and the "white dude" rocking the electric 6 string.....Some of the best elements of good music.

This is definetly a rock song (NOT disco) proving Summers can do it all.

And shes not afraid to venture w/the times.

Madonna is not Rock n Roll. She is not a musician. She is an entertainer. There is a difference. With Madonna, the image comes before the actual music. She has been a trailblazer for many new entertainers like Britney and Lindsey Lohan. But, she honestly doesn't have enough musical talent to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. It was mind boggling that she was being inducted instead of Joan Jett. Joan is truly one of the only real women left in rock.

Great ballad voice for sure, but whether she is singing a ballad or an uptempo song the voice and tone is the same. Which is beautiful, but not as versatile? I'm not saying one is better than the other but, out of the 10 videos on my page, do you honestly think Diana could sing any of them fully and true???

Im not getting into a debate - Ross/Summer! I love Donna, got her book "ordinary girl" and she gives props to the diva original and at Divas 2000. Diana Ross has 18 number one hits, so has nothing left to prove in the industry! She made it easier for the likes of Donna, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston and Madoona! She is a trailblazer and icon! P.S My fave Donna song is "This time i know" - fabulous and a big hit here in the UK.

The Hall of Fame is GARBAGE! Donna was famous before trashy MADONNA was. She paved the way for her and others. It is a shame that The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Foundation is racially biast to Black female performers! Donna should bring back the two guitarists for a future tour. This song animates her stage presence, and showed she could dance more than on-stage arm movements. It'd be really interesting to see her do this song on stage as part of a 2009 or 2010 tour, once her new album comes out. Anyone know when that album is coming out, anyway?
