I Need HELP PLEASE :S I cant find this anywhere so ill just ask here>>> How do I import footage from my cam to MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 14 PLUS. I mean I know how but every time I hook it up it says "There is no device connected? Any help??

I have a question. My camera has good quality,yet when I export it to Windows Media File and upload it to Youtube the quality is, pardon my language, crap.

I've tried to upload it directly to Youtube but it says that I have no internet connection, even though I do.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

@FajitaFive Hello, you might not want to use the Windows Media Video Codec (.wmv) since it's compressing the video and therefore worsen its quality. We would suggest you to use .avi for the export, since YouTube uses its own compression when you upload the video.

It's hard to help you with the other problem, since the internet connection most probably won't be the problem. It would be best if you could write us a private message providing us further information about the video.

hi, i have two questions about magix movie edit pro 15 plus:

-how do i properly change the file so that its good quality on youtube, i always try, and try, but it NEVER works like i go to the one that its suppose to be on, then it doesnt do itt!?

-also, is there a site to download more effects for magix movie edit pro 15 plus like even ones from the newer magix's projects like the new 16 plus?

@grooviesmoothiechix Hi, to have a good quality export, of course you also have to record in good quality. Try exporting in Windows Media File. It has good quality and is easy to use.

In case you have the download version first register your product online. Then try downloading all extra content from the help bar.

I know everybodys been asking questions on here with not an answer in sight but I figured I try anyway... is there a patch available for this program since it can't load a sound file in windows 7?? I had the same problem with Ulead Videostudio and all I had to do was install a Vista patch and voila it worked. The Magix site doesn't have any patches for anything! well? ... anyone? anyone? -crickets going off- .... sigh

@sirlordwhitman Hi, well actually I answer questions here almost every day.. ^^ Version 15 is not compatibel with win 7. Try in compatibility mode. To receive patches and updates you must be registered, then look for updates in the help bar in the software.

I've used this program for like a while and I have not looked at 16 Plus yet but I feel like I want to stay with 15 plus right now. Anyways, this is a really awesome program, super easy to use (when I started using it, the program I used before this was Windows Movie Maker XD) I made most of my vids with this awesome program!

I've used it for a long time, I really enjoy using Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus. It's so much better now! Some of my videos were edited and exported using MAGIX movie Edit Pro 15 PLUS! The program PWNS! It's a matter of time before someone starts comparing to the compitition (e.g. Sony Vegas, AfterEffects, etc.!)

This program is not intuitive. Not easy to grasp. The menu wording and definitions are slightly odd, nerdish infact.

If you want an easy to use video editor - this is not for you.

But, having said all that. If you want to persevere and follow all the useful tutorials made by people who have got used to the slightly oddball approach by Magix to layout and menu design, then you will discover a very powerful tool. But it requires PATIENCE

it ranges from 50-100 bucks, but its easy to find a free download, just look up free downloads for it on youtube, and u will find it for free :)
