OHMYGOSH! I remember renting these from the library/Christian bookstore and watching them on VHS. I loved David sooooooooo much - in the book, show, and EVEN the movie (even though they didn't portray him well). He was sooo sweet and just such a good guy (and cute!). He just needed to grow up a little bit more, but so did Christy. They were just awesome together. It broke my heart that things didn't work out better. I never liked the doctor guy, at all, EVER. URGH!
He is sweet as he is good looking & is expressed in his innocence & awkwardness. There isn't much to his courting, though Christy ought to show him the way, @ least I think she'd know more about it then he does.
