Uh...I had a similar crash two years ago...I descended from a mountain top in the Eifel (also Germany) and rode straight to the forest with speed of 50 km/h...Broken hand, some wounds, ...But nothing worse. Lucky me.

Thats nothing, I flipped upside down while I was on biking on the sidewalk and almost hit my head to the pavement while cars were going the opposite direction as I was heading to school.

Luckily I just suffered a bruised elbow, and a little bit of my ego since there was a metro bus packed with students. :D

There was another incident 2years ago, I was biking to my friends house on a 2 lane road, it was like 11pm on a Saturday night and this ***hole that was driving on the other direction swayed to my side and tried to hit me, then I jumped out of my bike and hit my knee on a firehydrant.

The guy made a turn before I could get his license plate.. my knee swell up like a grapefruit(exaggeration) but I was fine 2 weeks later.
