the absolute worst part of SWG is really the ending of the legacy quests, i am a really big supporter of this game and i like it...somewhat... but after a certain midpoint all the really exp giving quests are shut down on lok or rori somewhere. and that really grinds my gears cuz i finished at level 50 and was completly lost afterward, but, still a great game and i still play to this day

agreed! I would love to jump off of WoW and into a game like this. but everytime I reinstall the game and restart my account I play it for a few hours and realize why I quit playing it in the first place...

raeman,SWG was one of the best mmorpg's ever, until they hired some asshole programmer called Torres and he introduced the NGE and they whole combat system changed and they made us leave(us the veterans) before NGE to becomes just a jedi pedawan used to take up to 6 months, now you buy the game and you are already a jedi,we earned the jedi title we worked hard to get it, now you buy it.

Well that's the plan I think, you get flagged as SF when you enter. Eventually the plan was to make it into a PvP instance but they are taking one thing at a time.

I dont have big hopes for SWG nowadays, Lucas Arts wanted a new mmo and will be sending all resources to Kotor.

yeah sadly, SWG is okay. They just seem to put priority on the wrong areas. A lot of unfinished stuff just puts new players off, maybe SWTOR will be what makes the cut but I'm a bit wary of it prolly being like WoW. EA... are really bad, they completely ruined UO because they wanted it to be more like WoW. Bah.. oh well we'll see I suppose!

Yup :( WoW killed all new MMOs, SWG was one of the few that had something unique to it, but the world isn't ready for sandbox mmos I guess.

what they should have done is added it as a planet added the snow speeder as a vehicle u have to earn same as the at-st but only allow it on that planet last thing i want is dirty imps running around in those.. they also should have expanded the legacy quest maybe to take you up to level 70.... and i have afeeling im forgetting something

Hoth could have been great new quests new loot new hunts... Imagine the hunting trophy from that place. sadly im drawing a blank on the name of that creature

Or players that have simply left. The game is on the verge of closing or being replaced. It is in maintence mode for lack of a better term. Everything over the past year or so has been a stall nothing more, nothing less.

Isn't it always though? games come and go, the problem with MMO's is that they rarely go beyond their first steps into the market. All games face the same situation in the end. Patches like this one is just to make sure you keep subscribing so that they get what they want from you. Same thing happening in WoW and AoC. They want to keep you interested long enough for them to make a profit and then sell you an expansion. It's all a stall mate, whichever way you look at it.

How can they ignore the outcry?

By locking threads on the requests and banning accounts that think otherwise against great SOE logic..

"Meh" Doesn't look that special, some of the snowspeeder movements are pretty kek as well. Will have to wait and see what it is like, not getting my hopes up though. Thanks for uploading the video.

Yeah hopefully they will improve the flow of it, it's a step in the right direction though. It will really help separate SWG from the crowd, at the fan faire they expressed interest in expanding more on vehicles so that they can be upgraded with parts like the starships. We'll see though, won't be something we'll get soon.

Yeh, if they do the vehicles like the spaceships, it could work. It is nice to see fresh content, so lets hope that they can make it work. I'll probably leave my account going just to get the 5x TCG Booster packs a month, just for the little chance for a loot card. :)
