  • Good try but you should listen some really experienced guitarist even roland Dyens himselfe playing it because there are some points you must work on. No offence ... Your technique is quite good... but i feel like to inform you that if you want to play that piece even better ( emotionally and intentionally like @fenrir02 told you ) there is going to need even better technique beyond the mandatory one . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!! :-)

  • I think that music is really much more than technical abilities. You have great skills but there is a lot more to do in searching for nuances, emotions and intentions. That is what makes a difference between any skillfull guitar player and an interpret. You should pay more attention in phrases crescendos, especially in the scales and arpeggios. The rasguedos should be played manlier than that too. You have impressive skills by the way, that is really clean.

  • @fenrir02 do you also play guitar?

  • @Groove1993 >Yes I do

  • such talent! this guy needs way more recognition. you're amazing jared.

  • OMG so skilled

  • Omg you are a freaking prodigy!! Much better than some professional guitarists, and on par with Master Guitarists. YOU NEED MORE VIEWS

  • @1212MagicMan he is professional, man ...

  • i think those 16 negative votes are from ppl that cant even play pac-man....lame dudes..lame.At least that jared is skilled ^^

  • Perfect!

  • nice, I like how the first appeggio sounds all articulated

  • SUBLIME....

  • great great great interpretation!

  • beautiful

  • Best tango en skai on youtube.

  • u hv awesome skill. loved ur performance!!

  • beautiful song

    :)

  • great performance!

  • Awesome!

  • Jared, that was awesome... I think it is the best performance of the "Tango en Skai" on youtube...great work... loved the faster thythm and the crisp sound, I think it is much better this way. Keep it up.

  • Not something I'd like to see at a concert, but ok for watching on youtube.

  • Who is the composer of this piece???

  • @antievil777 Roland Dyens

  • ahhh juming out of the rythm

and played too hard put some passion in it next time becouse this is with out sound modules its just at one tone

  • ur doing the harmonics in the wrong place is on the fifth fret that way it sets u up for the next chord and the guitar tap...oh and the fast licks the first is too slow off tempo and other one is too fast.

  • I liked how clean it was. I'm guessing he rocks the metal. Good times

  • I think the tone sounds fantastic. It gives the piece a lot more edge.

  • Not good... Very hard and bad tone.

  • nice playing..but he jumpin out of rith from time to time...but je..good

  • good

  • good playing , I learn classic guitar so I know what its like ......its not so easy , to put better feel u need to know to play the song very well.... to practice it.....

  • didnt loved it....

    theres alot better...

alex chudnovsky beautiful sadness number 1!!!

  • Sounds like an acoustic guitar

  • i believe that to because of bad recording

  • @BHayley As opposed to what?

  • A classical?

    Idiot

  • @BHayley It's still an acoustic instrument, dumbass. If you mean steel string, which i assume you did, then say "steel string".

  • @BHayley like i said, if you meant steel string, then say "steel string". Say what you mean to say. i knew what you meant, but i was just being smart, as you used the word acoustic. It's still an acoustic instrument. please use correct terminology. And, i think his tone is quite fine. The guitar sounds different because it has a satin finish. I would know because my instrument does also. Can you play this piece? my guess is no. So stop criticizing and sounding like a complete jackass.

  • You're really cool

I bet you're one of those guys that says he's been playing for years, says finger-style, has crappy technique, refers to Classical guitars as acoustic guitars, and doesn't know the difference in tone between a spruce top and a cedar top guitar.

  • Either this was a bad recording-- since there was no mic or pick-up-- or Jared was having a bad tone day. It happens with all classical guitarist anyways. I have no idea what you mean when you say his Classical guitar doesn't have a Classical guitar sound. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. He has great technique. If my perception is correct, I would have to call you an amateur.

I hope this opens your eyes a little more. Now, stick foot directly in mouth.

  • stellar

  • :O

This makes me want to run away with you.

    Nice job!

You're tone sounds awesome (even though it's not a high quality video) I can still tell.

This has to one of my favorite pieces of all time :D

  • Hi man, nice job, one question, how is the correct form to play the scale? the fingering? can you tell me please? thanks!

  • Dude, I dont know why your at that college with the guy who can barely play Carcassi #7, a song I taught myself in 5 minutes

  • I'm sure you did, And it's not a song by the way. Just because they're at the same college doesn't mean they should be at the same level. A senior will be significantly better than a freshman.

  • sounded pretty good there was just some parts that seemed off to me but im not sure if that was your interpretation of the piece.. (specifically 00:31 and 1:15) other than that bravo!

  • is is very good but you need a better guitar and camera

  • you're fuckin good man

  • very good! keep on! my opinion is this: at 27 sec i think u should do it ff because is the bigest sound of the whole song... do whatever u want.i just expressed my opionion...nonetheless it's AMAZING! :)

  • i liked it . !

  • Really, really cool, man. You're doing it awesome.

  • you wouldn't know it by looking at him that he could play this..haha

    but its amazing

  • Wow, you rock. I can't believe .. that someone soo young can play something like this.

  • Bravo,bravísimo!

  • really great man, a clear sound with nice ejecution

  • this is so amazing, and your sound is so clear!

  • Jared my nigg, stickin' hard to the classical pieces. I love the music brah.

  • Which classical guitar do you use?

    It has a great sound..

  • ou...you rock, man

ok, ok I'm sorry, you play classics, so you just are wonderful =)

  • this piece isn't just amazing to listen to, but even more wonderful to play. i love playing it.. as capricho arabe (f.tarrega), gavotte en rondeau bwv996 (bach) and so on.. amazing pieces..

    well done.

    4.5/5 !=)

  • fantastic!!!^^

  • Bravo!

  • Wow looks hard to play

  • Yo dude, great job, good technique and good interpretation while staying true to the original. I have a question if you could help me: on that part that starts at about 1:20 and ends at 1:21, where you do all the hammer ons and pull offs and go up the neck of the guitar, how are you using your right hand? Are you plucking every note or just letting it hammer on? and what fingers are you using? If you could tell me that would be fantastic.

    Thanks in advance, Matt

  • it's quite simple there:

    7h8p7 5h7p5 3h5p3 1h3p1 0

    thats the descending part.

in the ascending part, every note is hit:

p i m is the way to play it, always going up one string

  • sick dude...

    ur awesome.

  • Oh crikey, what lovely playing. You must have worked so hard, if you haven't then I may as well pack up right now. Bravo!!!

  • Bravo! Great interpretation very well played.
