if you guys want to know how to get the 1200w motor message me

it is complicated because it wont fit into the bike. you have to weld it to make it fit.

i would suggest buying a 750 motor and an extra 12v battery and it will go faster but wont reach anywhere near 40mph. you have to change the sprocket ratio for it to get to speeds like that.

The bad problem, is that there is no speed control, and it dies fast. How many batteries do you have on there? What are the watts and volts of that motor? What can the computer hold? The 1000w motor(like the 1200w) requires quite a lot of work(re-fabricating the rear swing arm{cutting and welding}). The easiest thing to do is just add the 13t sprocket(from tncscooters d0t c0m). It should allow you to go 2-3 mph faster top speed than your friends stock mx500/650's(*but it will be a slight bit slower out of the hole). The 13t gear will make more heat for the 500w motor. The 750w motor from the same place is a direct bolt it, and run cooler & more out of the hole.

From what I understand, the 1200w motors are no longer available. What most folks are now doing is getting the 1000w motor in either 36v or 48v(tncscooters dot c0m). If you get the 36v and put 48v to it, you get more rpm's = speed, *but also more heat. *Refer to my "more info" for link to forum info on suggestions for upgrading. Unfortunately, I'm too busy for personal help on each person's projects. Good luck.

Guys,

Like I said in PBP. This was a one time speed test only, done on a straight closed road. High speed for these "toy" bikes on a regular basis is not what they were made for, and is probably unsafe. We are switching back to an 80t rear / 11t front (7.27:1 ratio) sprocket setup right away. This will lower our speed to ~22-24mph, but make it a torque / wheelie popping monster.

So I orderd bigger 18ah ones that Im going to try to fit in my pr200.For my motor, Im going to rewind my 500w. should be fast, i hope.

Two 36v 12ah batteries and two 12v 12ah batteries. The 36v & 12v batts are wired in parallel for 24ah, then the 36 & 12's are wired in series for 48v @24ah's !! The 100a controller is Happy now! (*My battery weight is ~65 lbs. Bike is much heavier, but you wouldn't know it, now that it's so frigging quick!
