  • Thank you for all the information. I often walk around this small town at night. Last Summer, I could hear a pack of coyotes, that killed something I would presume, at a farm that's right in town. Helix Oregon. Nice to learn all about them from your information. Thank you so very much. Candy

  • What happened to the dead coyote? :(

  • i saw a pack of 10-12 coyotes last night right in the middle of my little town

  • y is the cyote dead

  • I see so many familiar mannerisms and playfulness in these videos, that they remind me a lot of my dog. It's hard not to find them amusing.

  • WHO WAS IN THE WOODS PLAYING THE PIANO WHEN THIS VIDEO WAS TAKEN?

  • The description has a bunch of bad information in it.

Anyway, they're smart Fkr's and if I'm out and have a gun in my hand I'll shoot on sight :D

  • intensely beautiful, and some of the best life can offer. The music is absolutely perfect. Thanks, is the there by any chance a higher quality version?

  • How do you get this footage

  • I like the wind blowing through the wheat.

  • wtf dude did you kill that coyote

  • We get packs of over 100 coyotes here in Canada. In my county, we can get a bounty to kill them under the right circumstances. $100 a pop.

  • @weldermatt well yes if that somebody was a child molestor or a serial killer. If I had to choose between watching someone shoot a coyote or serial killer, I'd choose the latter. To specify it inoccent people>animals>delinquents and killers

  • theyre so beautiful :'3

  • As chicagobirder alluded but was too nice to explicitly state - get over yourself. A "planned attack"? On the deer yes, but almost certainly not on you. But I guess you needed a reason to shoot one, so congratulations. You can rationalize on par with your average 6th grader without access to google.

  • A friend of mine had 6 Coyotes chase him up a tree, He had shot a deer with a bow and the Coyotes wanted it. He now he takes a pistol with him when he bow hunts.

  • Umm, have any of you heard of animal control. Why do you think more and more countries are poverty strickn and famished. Too many people, so we're starting to starve. Fortunately, us hunters keep the animals from suffering the same.

  • hello puppies

  • these r ugly compared to some i hav seen

  • Whatbeautiful animals !!! How could anybody want to hunt one! They have every right to live here as we do!!!!

  • coyotes will attack people, especially kids, even though it is rare, they will. Here in south alabama they are getting out of control and huge! We are now thinning them out, they are overrun here, kinna like wild hogs, there are way too many, threatening our children and pets that a playing harmlessly in our yard, there aint no sense in that! animals are animals and people are people. i swear people r gettin crazy, they would rather see somebody killed than an animal! WTF!

  • We destroy their forests and land, kill their family for sport, and then you complain as to why they are everywhere?? They have a right to live just like anything else on this planet. Just because there are a ton of them doesnt mean you just start killing them. We don't go to other countries and just kill humans because there are a lot of them. sheesh....people don't get it....

  • i seen one a few yrs ago in the apple orchard near my moms ouse it was gray and the size of the german sheperard ... the yotes are inter breeding with the redwolf from maine i live in mass . so they are becoming lone hunters and huge andwicked aggresive ..

  • A farmer shot the wolf in Indiana, and no believed him till he showed them the body. And it came from Wisconsin like he said in the video.

  • @kosh2001 Thanks for the information

  • I watched this video because I have always heard coyotes in my woods behind my house(They're relitively small) and last night I heard one coyote start off with the famous howl at the moon. Then a few more joined in and eventually it sounded like arouns 70. My neighbor said he saw 60 in the woods behind his house once(He was a bit wasted) but both me and my dad agree there are alot back there. I was debating hunting them even though I don't have a license just to make an attempt of keeping them

  • Ive never heard coyotes howl like that. I always hear them at night and they sound like a mix between laughing and crying. atleast the ones in the appalachian mountains.

  • Im in the northeern state of minnesota and i was wondering what kind of coyotes there are up there. cause i saw huge packs of them and they are pretty big.

  • I live in southern arizona, out of tucson. I get packs of coyotes around here allllllllll the time. More so in the winter months. During the day I have seen "lone" coyotes, but at night they are usually in packs. I hear them howling and "laughing" as i call it behind my house all the time. Definately not rare that they are in packs, mixed with wolves or not. The ones out here do sound a bit different though!

  • Shoot the f*ckers

  • asdfghjkasdfghjksdfghjksdfghjkldfghjkl;sdfghjklasdfghjk

  • lmao sks is so innaccurate ud be lucky to scare them , i have 1 i know . tikka 243 different story , i ran into 13 full size yotes in a pack last year , it definatly is rare , taker easy

  • should had sks take out 8 or so of them....mostly pups someone feeding them carcass's ect....

  • it was just a litter of pups playing. It is not rare nor were they chasing you. Coyotes very rarely even come close to a human unless they are rabid or have some other disease. Also you tree huggers need to quit posting dumb comments, coyotes decimate deer and other wildlife populations and it doenst hurt to take a few of them out. You have to kill atleast 75 % of the coyotes in an area to make any difference, because they can reproduce the next year to the same number.

  • I live in New Brunswick Canada. In the last few years. Id say the last 10 actually. We have been seeing more packs of coyotes. They are big too. They look like small wolves. They are mostly afraid to approach people but wont hesitate to run out and rip your dog from it's leash, While your walking it. They are becoming more of an issues every year, yet no one will hunt them as their meat is worthless and thier pelts are not sought after like bear or deer.

  • my friend got stalked by a pack of coyotes and one ran at him he wiped it out with his 300 ultra mag 180 grain

  • The only thing missing in this vid is....BAM!!....BAM!!-BAM!!....BAM!! ...and coyotes rolling in the grass.

  • We don't even pretend to point a rifle at the coyotes on our property. The only thing they hurt is the rabbits, and we got too many of those bastards already. Shooting dogs just ain't right.

  • i would have tried to shoot 'em. i bet that pisses ya'll off huh? hahahaha

  • hey do coyotes get to be the size of german shepards cause i saw one in my back yard and a week after that my naibor caught it in his chicken house he said it didnt have not a bit of fat on it it was all muscle

  • @rednecks493 *** Eastern coyotes are much larger than western coyotes. See the article in National Geographic (Aug. 2010) “New Beasts in the East,” about Coywolves that says DNA testing shows that many of Eastern Coyotes are Wolf-Coyote hybrids. They are larger than standard coyotes and can behave like wolves.

  • @IrenaScott yeah there so hard to get to answer howls,im from New Brunswick we almost always have to use rabbit distress

  • @IrenaScott All the coyotes in a huge area of the northeastern US and into Canada are coywolves now. They think the main reason they have been so successful is coywolves can work together and bring down deer, where coyotes generally need to hunt and eat a much larger volume of smaller prey.

  • @rednecks493 i can tell you 1 thing the next time you see it kill it

  • @rednecks493 coyotes are small but very mean and they can tear you up good

  • @rednecks493 The coyotes that live in my area in western Georgia are pretty healthy. The ones I see look well fed and have luxurious coats. I saw a couple dining on frozen horse manure late on Christmas night by my house. They were about the same size as my German Shepherd. They were hopping around like these guys. They ate for about 10 minutes and only ran off when they heard me open the door. They were beautiful!

  • @rednecks493 Its "shepherds" and "neighbours

  • @rednecks493

many of them aren't pure coyotes. many are hybrids, be it with large dogs or rarely wolves.

  • I bet there aren't many rabbits, turkey or other upland game in that area. That place needs a serious culling.

  • Extremely rare? Coyotes are the farthest thing from rare you could find...

  • spooky...

  • @goober239 *** Eastern coyotes are much larger than western coyotes. • In Montana and Arizona, coyotes often form packs of ten or more. Only in areas where they compete with wolves have I seen them lead solitary lives. While camping outside Phoenix, we were serenaded by a pack of coyotes 30+ members strong.

  • theres a pack of 8 coyote's that are roaming around the feilds near my place, we've shot a few in the past that weighed over 50lbs.

  • Wow. Even a 15 point buck cannot take the this volume of attack from a smaller animal. Awesome vid especially during the kill. Watch it all folks.

  • @Bergred *** Eastern coyotes are much larger than western coyotes. • poor coyotes humans are everywhere!

  • Thats not a Whitetailed Human its a Deer dude a Deer

  • How dangerous are Coyote's if you get up close to them in the wood's?

  • @TheJeepEnthusiast

they run they aren't a vicious animal

  • are they foxes ?

  • Looks to be mid to late summer and looks to me a family group is out playing around. Probably the adult pair and their pups.

  • aw those coyotes are so cute!

  • chicagobirder is correct in all the points posted.

Further, it was 8 pups out with their parents, not a 'pack'. Likely they will stay together into January, then the pups will be dispersed as the parents will get territorial before they mate.

  • coyotes do not weigh over 100 lbs as stated. the link for the article of the new york state record is inaccurate. The animal killed was killed in penn and was a wolf/dog hybrid.

  • @gothwannabe037 I cant just kill them? I guess Im going to do the impossible this weekend :D

  • OMG, all this ranting and fussing about a video featuring a bunch of coyotes. its just a video people. who cares who know the most about coyotes. They are beautiful animal, and i hunt coyotes several times a year with my friends. dont get all disturbed about one little video

  • beautifuls animals

  • There's a full moon out as I'm typing this. And two nights ago, I spotted a lone coyote near my house. That's why I've been absorbing everything I can about them on the web.

  • i didn't get to watch it all.

  • Oh, thank you!!!!! Hungry is a hungry does

  • This is obviously a RARE video. I can count the humans on one finger who have witnessed this many coyotes in one setting. Attack?? NOT EVEN. This is a happy pack which has just littered a large amount of pups and is taking them out to learn in an environment they feel comfortable in. Someone needs to teach the cameraman how to REALLY create a video and he/she may be able to make some money. The rest of the vid gets better after the "wolf" chatter. Good stuff nonetheless.

  • @CashCamg this is NOT rare at all! coyotes hunt in packs all the time

  • OMG why didn't they shoot them? I was in a situation like this with my friends. But there were no adults, and we were almost bitten, but then these 2 adults came. And we ran away shouting thank you. LOL

  • 1. there was no chasing or stalking in this video. The coyotes were just playing around with each other, they were not 'chasing' you.

2 Coyotes hunt in packs all the time, this is NOT RARE, they are all over urban areas now, we hear packs all the time at night right here in the suburbs of Chicago.

    3. We get coyotes this size in our back yard and we live in a residential area.

    4. thanks for posting this despite the highly misleading title and description, always good wildlife videos

  • @chicagobirder There were a lot of coyotes together, is what was meant by huge pack. However the coyotes here are quite large as can be seen in some of our other videos, such as Coyote 50 lb 3 leg Deer Big Rack Male Shot Kill

  • @chicagobirder O.o in chicago?!?! yea theres coyotes in new mexico (where i live) but they're wild....

    wow..chicago

  • @chicagobirder *** Eastern coyotes are much larger than western coyotes. • fuckin chihuahua

  • I love huntin these man the adrenaline is soo good

  • that is why i kill those little fuckers there are so damn many of them

  • @MrBuckhunter27 I hope they kill your children....... and I'm happy when I hear about them killing babies; limits our population. You say there's so many of them. Look at our population, dumbfuck.

  • The quality is kinda crappy :P

  • WTF ? the Music? Can anyone say 223. 55 Grain V-max ? Holly shit i would have blasted those nasty Varmints! Put the Camera Down !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @THELOINCOLLECTOR603 I know dude! that would be the best damn hunt EVER!!! there's gotta be 10 fuckin yotes in there N' all they did was film! big bastards too!

that dog at near the end, the one huntin after that Vole was HUGE!!! that had to be a 50 pound dog! where was this shot? you dont find em that big till you get out to the Rocky Mountains! even out here a yote that size is rare. can we talk about me N' my brother comin out N' thinnin this pack down for y'all a lil bit?

  • you ass. they have just a right to life as we do. they have families and friends, you can't just kill them!

  • do coyotes attack humans?

  • No, usually not, their very skiddish and you more likley to be bitten by the family pet.

  • i have had two attack me and i had to shoot them the ones that attacked me though had rabies i dont know how to spell that

  • Those are some big coyotes. They are awesome animals. They have some of the best fur for making coats, hats, etc. A Great renewable resource and a lot of fun to hunt. Too bad the pelts don't bring much money....they used to bring a good bit of cash.

  • You certainly can't take Coyotes lightly. They have attacked and killed people before. This October a girl got killed in Canada by a pair of Coyotes. She was a grown woman and when they found her her intestines were hanging out. Most times they are afraid of you. But do be careful around Coyotes.

  • I dont care what any of the you negtive are trying to pull with out wild, life. but to my apenien , the human poplation is a descrace to the ego system, and humans are the trrue enmys of nature , and all of it bealty, and the life stream that flows with nature. So screw all you fuck faces thats wants wolves and coyote killed. Cause you could be one , and be the prey . insted of the preditore. mind my typo.

  • @purplewolfpimp the life stream that follows through Nature is energy and it comes from two sources the sun and eating life.

Sometimes predator control is needed, sorry if you don't believe that but I have seen what coyotes and mountain lions do to a deer population. Not arguing against their existence, but sometimes numbers are too high. Yes, eventually it would be limited by starvation and disease.

  • You are the true enemy of spelling.

  • YAAAAAY!!! THANK YOU! THNK U THNK U THNK U!!! xDDDDD

  • You can't thin the population of coyotes by hunting or trapping.. You can control them to a point. After a massive culling the females tend to go into heat twice and try for a second litter to bring up their numbers. Coyotes are biological geared to survive at all costs. They will breed heavier, hunt anything that they can manage to kill.. even Fluffy the cat or Scrappy the dog. They only have one purpose in life, and that is to survive.

  • Seems like an irony of nature that we can control wolves more easily than we can coyotes, but wolves can control coyotes better than we can.

  • Have you ever had coyotes slaughter your lamb crop ? That would change the minds of idiots that have no idea of what they are defending. Liberal thinking is usually a habit of ignorance and inexperience.

  • Very well said

  • Who did the IQ test on these alleged Smart Dumbest Coyotes? Maybe they took the SAT test at University of Nuisance. Perhaps there is a tree there that you liberals can hug, ......oh no..thats Obama's ass.

  • should of shot everyone of them!

  • In October the young coyotes leave to find their own territory & may travel 100 miles & only 50% survive the journey,Mankind is the coyotes greatest enemy. There is a saying that"The dumbest coyote is smarter than the smartest dog."

  • all you people that said "Kill them" or "Nuke them" Coyote are beautiful animals. Respect every animal we are animals too... I know it sounds cheesy, but really if we are to survive as a species we have to stop being so damn selfish and greedy. Become self sustainable but help others, and they will do the same for you. Think about that before you reply with some smart ass remark

  • I need a $100, help me pls.

  • You say to respect them, We do respect them by killing them. They are over populated and a few need to be killed too keep the health of the rest of the coyotes healthy.

  • @VergotheV where i live coyotes are a nuisance so if you see one you will shoot it on most occasions

  • whatever dipshit wildlife biologist that says that coyotes hunt alone is an idiot...sure ive seen them hunt alone, but ive also seen a pack 10 strong taking on a deer...they also have killed our older calves and u could tell easily it was a pack that did it...

also, the 115lb coyote thing....i think i may have to call shinanigans on that one too lol

  • @bigNMhillbilly We don't say that, they just usually hunt alone

  • nuke them

  • theres a rock out in space with all our names on it

    we are not gods

  • kill em all boys kill em all and btw dude u can rot bc they kill our deer and they are annoying

  • fuck you

  • yah the biggest a coyote gets is about a little smaller then a border collie dog wich is about 50 55 pounds so yah you wont see a bigger coyote then 50 pounds. dogs can take them coyote s in the east ? 100 pounds! NO must be a wolf hybrid or dog or somthing cause that is bull shit

  • My border collie weighs about 35(fyi) but last year a shot a 63 pound dog and it was too big for my stretchers haha but yah there is no fucking way it was 100 lbs.

  • and soon they will be extinct... AGAIN like every other animal will

  • @kayu38 ahhhhhhh shut the fuck up. I am tired of PETA WHINING over fucking animals that are over populated and cause humans harm. You need to worry about your own race.

  • coyotes extinct? please. if anything these animals owe their current success to humans.

coyotes are numerous, even in cities. even when humanity has hunted them mercilessly they have adapted. these animals are doing well and have adapted rather well to human changes.

human activity is not solely destructive. a number of species make use of us or our changes.

  • i heard that , that they rebound very well after a mass culling.

"coyotes are the poorman's wolves" nah not really. for when you don't have a wolf, you have coyotes.

  • true...

    literally

  • Coyotes are awesome. Yes they need to be controlled, but respected. They are a great addition to nature. GREAT VIDEO ENJOYED, NATURE AT IT'S BEST

  • Why do they need to be controlled? The more you do that the more they'll come looking for humans and pets to kill. If you're thinking cull then maybe you agree with the Holocaust.

  • they arent going to come after humans cuz were killing them..... they dont understand revenge. theyre animals.

  • animals do understand revenge belive me

but thats true they dont attack humans

  • @centhocklars01 coyotes in my area attack anything, they dont give a fuck. and coyotes in most areas arent afraid of humans at all. ive gotten attacked but my wolf dog hybrid, my lab and and my springer/bernese mountain dog mix killed some and chased the rest off. humans are probably more afriad of coyotes then coyotes are of humans. cuz wenever a coyote attcks its all over the news, whenever a dog attacks it MIGHT make the local paper depnding on how serious it is.

  • @centhocklars01 ur a complete idiot dumbass kid who lives in the city and doesnt know shit about wild animals i live on 85 acres in northern Bc ive had these sly fuckers attack my dog and come after me once i dont fuckin mess around i seen the same three coyotes the next day and shot one with my crossbow skinned his ass put his head on a pole in the back of my yard teach those mother fuckers a lesson anyways as i was saying u dont know shit so shut ur ugly fat ass up u hot doggin fudge packer

  • i understand your name because that was the stupidest thing ive ever heard. no animal will ever be smart enough to rationalize that because we kill them they kill us. all there going to think is wow i should stay away from humans so i dont get shot like the other coyote. your a dumbass and need to stop talking

  • so as to keep nature in balance, humans have managed to mess up the ecosystem and now we have to keep it all under control, too many coyotes take food from other predators and would decimate avaliable prey, they could also take livestock which is therefore damaging to someones livelihood, I am pretty sure coyotes aren't rare so it is not like you could relocate them, I think someone mentioned that in some places there numbers are out of control as there are no wolves to keep them in check.

  • coyotes solitary hunters?

    yeah right

  • those are foxes stupid

  • ..Wow. At least go look up pictures of coyotes to cure your naiveté. Those are not foxes.

  • ur a dip shit lol

  • I live in a town of 2000 in Western IL and they come into town along with foxes and dear and coon to search for food.

  • come ta central n northern wisconsin they travel in packs a lot bigger n that and you can sit in a field at night n hear all the different hunting parties all around you from as far as 5 miles away up to just on the other side of the field. its eerie and weird but its still really cool

  • here in saskatchewan canada theres a bounty on coyotes, they want them dead, hand in all 4 paws to a local RM and get 20$ for it.

  • @escapinginferno - That is where Kenton Carnegie was Killed by Wolves(2005) and they attribute that to your Hunting Policy about Wolves ? They say it wouldn't have happened in BC .

  • i have a bunch of coyotes near my home & they are breeding with large dogs. thats how a lot of them are getting so big.

  • 2:42........this could be just a couple of coyotes moms watching theyre combined young goof around. they seem to act like puppies.

  • I really hope you haven't got this on Comment Pending Approval, to keep the truth from the masses. Great video by the way. Sorry about the ranting, but this one struck too close to home.

  • Very sorry to hear about the young woman.

  • Thank you. I may not always agree with you, but I do respect you, and always enjoy your videos. Again thanks, I'll pass it on

  • We mentioned coyote attacks on people at the end of the column on the right and give a reference to a study done on the subject. Thanks.

  • Just a quick comment for the .....people that have been saying coyotes are harmless unless provoked, or injured. You should explain that to the young (19) lady that was attacked by two while hiking, this past Tuesday. Oh, wait. You can't. She died through the night from her injuries. Well, maybe you could explain to her family what she did to provoke these coyotes. Some people should put their brain in gear, if they have one, before saying anything stupid.

  • lol because of my wisconsin "accent" i think you say wisconsin funny

  • ha i'm about to go hunt coyotes this weekend. they are a pest around here, and have killed atleast 2 deer within 1/8th of a mile from my house, not to mention my cousin that walks down a 1/4 of a mile drive to his house.

long story short, coyotes can become a nuisance, and when they are, they should be managed like any other game animal

  • I am no "trigger happy hunter" either- I've never been hunting, never even held a gun. To tell the truth, I think that things like this are absolutely beautiful. But bassnman420 has a point. Humans ARE omnivores, meat is a large part of our diet. In fact, it's nearly impossible to live without the nutrients it provides.

Not to mention that most hunters today do it for a REASON. Very few hunters will go out just to get fur or feathers anymore. Ask any hunter.

(Anyway, yeah. I wrote too much...)

  • By omnivores. Does that mean we are related to pigs. Or is it our eggteeth when we are born. Or our digestive system. Or tradition that is handed down. Or is our forward facing eyes. Or the fact that it would make us #2 to herbivores. Or that scientists say it. Or all the above. And a panda is a realist and decided to create a responsible meaning to life. I have always been beffudled at being called a omnivore. If we are top animal. Big if. We should protect all the others. Ehhh.

  • ???????????? wow..........

  • it means we eat both plants and meat. Quit thinking soo much

  • yeah that's not rare and people kill them because they are pest they over populate kill livestock and kill pets

  • I am no trigger happy hunter and I am tired of hearing this shit you want us to stop a natural instinct WE ARE PREDATORS WE KILL...and u want us to stop right...ok well get your tree hugging asses out in the woods and we will open a season on your dumb asses....or we could just hunt animals your choice

  • Lovely music. Sickened by some of the comments from the cowardly trigger happy hunters. Sad at the dead youngsters. What was thier story ?

  • Coyotes are known to travel in packs of 20 or more when bedding down or hunting large game. This is nothing new or rare. But it is fun to see.

  • what killed this pup? that last one was big and very pretty.

  • When wolves were intronuced back into Yellowstone the coyote population decreased by 40%. That is part of the reason wolves were released in Wisconsin. Way too many coyotes have been a problem.

  • Irena...do you carry a gun on you when you film? I know I sure would..

  • the only way i would film dangerous animals is if i got a fucking gun with me

  • WOW!!! Irena, i've been hunting for 15 years and i have never, ever seen anything like this. i once saw a mom and her 3 pups but never 10 at one time. this is an incredible video...

  • if a coyote chased me i'd uppercut it with my dick

  • retard

  • haha

  • it would have to be right on top of u then lol

  • i really admire everyone who has the courage to film any kinda dangerous animals, like Irena. I wouldn't even dare. I really love watching these vidz, but i don't think i'll ever have the gut to film one myself.

5 out of 5 vid. Sweet job!

  • it doesnt take courage to film coyotes they only hurt u if u hurt or threaten them

  • What a shame people kill these animals just because they can. These most likely are either red wolf or a wolf/coyote hybrid. Loved to see the part of the video where it showed them playing so happily.

  • Coyotes are known to have upt to 9 puppies at a time, thats when they live in packs, those were very young pups. Nice video by the way.

  • one time i was in the woods with my dad and in a distance a firestruck(which its siren sounded like a coyote yelp/ howl) went by, and after about 2 mins we heard a coyote pack of atleast 5 run right past us, as if chasing somthing.

another time is when i was guarding my dads deer when he went back to the car to get his supps, and 2 coyotes came and growled at me but i had a light so they didn't come to close, and when my dad came bad the slmost scared the crap outa coyotes. :) my stories.

  • the little dog is just like, Who is this?

    = o )

  • Last here while dragging a deer out of the woods in the evening, me, my father and my brother were circled by lots of coyotes that were hungry and ready to eat. It was dark so we were only able to see their eyes, all around us at about 50 yards. They stopped every time we did and walked every time we did. After gutting out the deer, we left and watched the coyotes behind fighting for it. I wish i had a camera that time, because i also wish for that not to happen ever again!!!
