I agree with you on most of what you said! However, Kennedy didn't stand up tp corporatism, He stood up to the CIA and the Bankers. But he wasn't the only one that stood up. Excuse me but Lincoln "was going to" issue Greenbacks? As far as I know Lincoln DID issue Greenback dollars. They were a form of Demand Note similar to a Promissory Note. As far as I can tell their failure to become popular and widely traded rested upon their innate low value. Few were willing to gamble on the Notes to retain value as rumours of an impending secession of the South were widely held to be true at the time of their initial issuance.
