  • A gifted musician and very astute humanitarian, I agree very much with what Lang Lang says about the great importance of play in childrens lives. The dire economic situation in underdeveloped nations means parents resources weigh heavily on basic survival needs rather than attention to their childs natural development through play.

    The future of their countries depend on those very children and they should be allowed to develop into happy confident and capable human beings to have any chance.
