Working on an very simple arrangement for "Silent Night" in Taropatch tuning...will post it some time in December in time for Christmas.

  • Thanks again! I mean it! Your playing is so SWEET and TOUCHING that you always makes us relaxing.

Can't wait for your Christmas song!

  • Aloha Shuji: You played this so very well. You are a most excellent guitar player. The guitar is very beautiful. The inlays are so lovely. Is mother of pearl?

Thank you for sharing your music.

    Shuji Asakawa

  • Oh yeah......Beautiful new guitar ;-) Looks like a high end Taylor with some elaborate inlays and it sounds great too.

  • Excellent Shuji !!!!!! One of the best renditions in Drop C I've ever heard. Did you learn it by ear or with a little help from our friend in Pauoa? I especially liked how you used the brush stop technique during the song. Awesome job Shuji & mahalo for sharing.

    Aloha Always

    Duke

  • Yes, Duke, I have been taught by my teacher in Pauoa:) I tried to attack strongly but it is so hard to play like him. Since you told me about idea of brushing, now I can do that a little better, maybe.

    Mahalo and Aloha

    Shuji

  • Nahenahe kou kani ka pila i keia mele nani o Hawaii nei. Mahalo a nui.
