Your axe sounds pretty killer too, what is it?

  • excellent. very fine singing/playing.

  • Nice song well sung but who is singing the harmonies?

  • Really a very fine perfomance. I have an old, crakling copy from the 1930's by The Blue Sly Boys and a equally well-worn copy from the 1950's by The Monroe Brothers. My Grandma told me that her dad sang it in the 1920's but that there were some additional words and verses. Anyway - this version is done very well and I enjoyed it very much. Great job, guys!

  • Porter wagner was before Johnny Cash even..

  • You sure are doing this one great mate, going straight into favorites.

  • right im about to ask a really obvious question here, but can anyone tell me which came first, this rendition by johnny cash, or olivia newton-johns version? i know it probs sound obvious, but hey, im only 16.

  • It's actually a traditional song. Lots of people have sung it. Though I imagine Johnny Cash recorded it before Olivia Newton-John.

  • great job guys, great rendition of that classic!

  • Loved it :)

  • Great, loved the harmonies and the color of this videos is better, more contrast or so.. :)
