My Blackberry is great and handles my 8 different email accounts like a charm - love it. But the app coverage is poor, so my next purchase will be an Android. All the phones have pluses and minuses. BB is the business phone, and it will continue to handle email, appointments etc very competitively.

Also if you put your blackberry on lock you cannot access the physical keyboard with or without the passcode. To be honest the "Blackberry for professionals" is extremely cliche. I use a Blackberry mainly for its BBM and extremely practical apps and I do not work at a desk job.
