Tenali Raman is a real person from ancient 16th century south-Indian Vijayanagara Empire. His stories are not 100% fiction and there is a real History behind the guy. It is equally as important as to enjoy his stories as well as knowing his true History.

yup i remember a script saying, "Thenali ramakrishnalu" i am convinced that he is a telugu folk tale legend, But is this based on a real story or is he real? I used to learn his stories in 1st grade malayalam book.
