If you were watching the show, the most amazing thing about this performance was Haley was a perennial bottom finisher and no one knew she had a jazz background. So when she pulled this off, people were like, "Where did that come from? Casey must have taught her that. He's great!"

The thing with Haley is she has the pipes to sing anything and can adapt to whatever she is singing. The most amazing thing in my mind about this performance and all the other Jazz classics Haley has recorded is her timing because Jazz is all about the timing and of course her amazing ability to go up and down the scale...Can't seem to get enough of Haley!!!!

Haley studied jazz vocals for three years in HS and sang with an acapella group, Midnight Blue Vocal Jazz. She joined the school's jazz band her JR yr. They played local clubs in Chicago and won a state contest that gave them the opportunity to play at the Montreux Jazz Fest in Switzerland & the Umbria Jazz Fest in Italy. Haley is better as a singer. Casey is better as a musician. Casey was touted as the Jazz singer but Haley outperformed him here. I think he would agree. Casey to US magazine: "Her voice is incredible. The tone of her voice is like nothing I've never, ever heard before. Never ever. I wish you knew how serious I was about this. Like, it's never going to be replicated, and it's never been done before."
