  • I'm sorry, but I hate David Hartman's guts! I hate the sound of his voice, how he narrates every god damn detail, and how pretentious he is! Couldn't they have given Sinden a better foil, or at least a better co-actor!?

I would change myself for Ivarsson :P

  • OMG this was the first non-animated movie I saw in the theater as a kid. Am now 42. My head just exploded.

  • The film was based on the novel The Lost Ones, written by Ian Cameron (wikipedia).

  • great movie i just hate the sub titles at the bottem

  • A forgotten classic one i have grown to love and will not forget Thanks Walt Disney for another timeless classic!

  • @hylander89 I wish they still made movies like this! Movies that were fun and escapist. No gory violence needed.

  • A great and under rated Disney classic. Made at a time when Disney films with real actors were always about high school or college geeks developing superhuman powers after experiments went wrong this was refreshingly different and harked back to greats like 20 000 Leagues Under The Sea and Treasure Island. Donald Sinden is spot on as an Edwardian gentleman explorer.
