  • GO CLOGGING <3 hah this is my 9th year (:

  • isn't clogging just tapping?

and yeah first time i did any of this i was doing harder stuff

  • @FaithWhite Ah! Clogging developed from English Step dancing as did tap dancing.English Clog dancing is a form of stepping that has its homes in areas where clogs were habitually worn.Forget the ideas about looms. It all goes back further in time.I have heard it said that there is nowhere in the English speaking world that does not have some form of step dcg.

Interesting that Eng Clog uses both feet equally. seems Tap tends not to . I'm from England!

  • @tubemagpie hmm. Thanks for that info snippet. I forgot all about this video until you replied. lol. So in a sense it is tapping but they are also two different styles and forms. If clogging involves two feet equally there's a chance i'd trip up more.

  • @FaithWhite I remember watching a programme on British TV with two black dancers claiming that African Americans had invented Tap Dance. A while later Wane Sleep put the presenter firmly in his place on the matter. One thing that we can all agree on is that it's all Step Dancing. I find the idea the native American dance is the source very hard to swallow. If you watch Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson you can see the Eng Clog roots of tap (YouTube Him). So short of space here.

  • @tubemagpie I tried putting in a link for Wyne Sleep.... got an error message. Long Live The Dance!

  • get to the point

  • CLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGS !!!

  • I missed something! I thought I would see some cloging, which I know nothing about. I got the strong impressionthat I was going to be trapped in a con game. I dont think clogging is worth a wallet. The end of my clogging experince.

  • bahahaha i started with way harder steps than that and am 12 and on advanced level of dance. but i liked the vid anyway

  • this sets a bad name for clogging lol

  • @doubletroubleshow1 yeah me too! now im doing double toe tricks and all that stuff!

  • I'm in clogging, and this is NOTHING compared to what we do!!

  • thats soooo fricken easy!!

  • i took clogging for 5 years and i quit ): biggest mistake of my life

and these steps are so easy. took me 2 lessions to learn all of them

  • WTF!

  • Wow, I saw that add at first...the dominatrix one...and was like "What modern influences are they putting in there?"

  • Geeze.

I know they're adults, but even our adults, who are 60 and over, can do way more than that.

    And I agree with bmwforlife46.

  • i do clogging and thats nuttin!! i do stuff way harder then that

  • It's beginner of course.

  • I am part of the Wills Mountain Cloggers :)

  • BAAAAAAHAHAHAHA

  • happy feet cloggers??? wow...... haha.

  • WOW..HAHAHHAAHHAHHAHAHAH

  • wtf is the difference between this and tap?

  • You use your heel, so it gives it an extra sound.

  • No the difference is the shoe. The bottom has two taps instead of one.

  • I believe I've seen tap shoes with taps on the toe and heel, unless you're referring to the floating taps.

  • Yes I was referring to the EXTRA tap on the shoes. XD 4 taps in total. I was a clogger for a few years sooo. lol

  • you start with the left foot.

  • clogging is a time dance that has more front to back motion than tap and we also have a doudle platted tap on the bottom that is steel not aluminum.

  • Actually, bell taps are die-cast aluminum. They are a bit quieter than the stevens you probably use so they take more work to get sound out of, but they also don't tear up the floor as bad or break as easy.

Also, the taps are generally referred to as a "floating tap."

  • There are two tap's that tap together on the toe and heel of the shoe's... where as tap shoes only have 1.

  • Clogging is on a down beat while Tap is on a up beat.

  • i am a clogger, and the stuff we do is really up beat!

  • hey anyone wanna see a new and amazing group of cloggers. were called tensation and were a group of advanst cloggers from western new york. we dont compete were just a fun performance group. search tensation there are many videos!
