I'm in my 22 and I love this movie. It was made in order to introduce the chipmunks to a new generation of viewers. There are plenty of people who were fans of the chipmunks for years like me and I supported the movie and squeakquel. I feel like these reviewers are harsh, just because they didn't enjoy the chipmunks, doesn't mean they should make fun of it so badly. I know I enjoyed the movie and it had to be loved by others for it to have a sequel. Kids don't like anything, kids can be picky.

As a kid, of course, I've also seen a lot of childish movies, but the ones I really remember are the ones I still love today. Like the Lion King, Aladin, Toy Story etc.

Even the most terrible movies ever have a certain audience. They are even people who like Disaster Movie.. I'm just not going to defend a movie based on that.

Yeah, I know i'ts not actually helium, but the idea behind it is the helium voices. I have never liked the chipmunks. They've always been annoying to me. I don't totally hate them, but it doesn't appeal to me at all.

I also don't get why they have to put them in a cliche live action movie. This movie is just so unoriginal.

Just like Leon, I only liked David Cross as the record producer. I've liked David Cross since I saw him playing Tobias Fünke in Arrested Development.

I remember watching the animated movies when I was a kid and when this came out I wanted to watch it in theaters but never did. So I then downloaded it and watched it for a total fo like 3-4 times. Also putting jason lee in the movie as Dave was perfect as he did an excellent job. It a nice change of pace seeing him do something other than Kevin Smith films. I love Kevin Smith his a legend in my sight but Jason lee was jsut wonderful in here.
