haha did you think we wouldn't comment on your eyebrow? I'm sure what you were saying was very interesting... but it's hard to not fixate on your eyebrows and block everything else out. WTF lol.

What Kind/Type Of Hair Moisturizer Would you recommend? My Hair Is Naturaly Curly & weak. oh & i didnt noticed that you shaved half of ur eyebrows Until The Last Part Of The Vid, i Thought Ur Eyebrows Were Thin, I Think Im Going Blind lol But Anyways It Looks Good On u tho
This was such good information. I BCed this past March and have primarily did wash and gos all summer. My hair is growing but I fear it won't be long enough for two-strands twists just yet... what should I do? I really don't like wearing weaves... Are hats and scarves my best option in our harsh MS winter weather?
just a note .. you should correct it also - henna does NOT lighten your hair ... at all. Maybe henna mixed with honey may have some lightening properties but real henna does not lighten anyone's hair. Even put on a blonde it makes her hair a darker colour.
Thankyou for the tip. Do you have any advice for me becasue I feel that I am not doing the right thing for my hair. Please check out my video by clicking on my name. Thankyou
So when is a good time in the year for a blow-out? I always have to wait til like winter to do it because of humidity and what not. And for anyone else, I definetly agree to lay off the dye. I have fucked my hair up due to permanent dye!!! I'm gonna try henna at Lush Cosmetics because their henna has shea butter and other moisturizers enfusied in it.
Oh girl, I knew by ya screen name we lived in the same area! lol Girl, we don't really have to worry about the winter weather b/c it doesn't get too cold until around the end of Nov. You can do blow outs up until the weather starts to drop to like 50 or below cuz that's when the weather starts get colder and dryer. I actually had to do protective styles for the summer b/c of the humidity here. My hair would frizz bad.
I wash my hair with shampoo bars they are wonderful for washing hair...I do dye my hair but I do it during the spring months. I love oyin handmade and and thick creams...
any protective style. Maybe braids (no micros) or twists, wigs, etc. anything that will stop you from messing in it everyday. Make sure to cover your hair also when going out. and keep it moisturized
i don't dye...i did that one time while natural and i prob wont again. it made my hair really dry and brittle and it took a week of conditioning to get it back to its normal state. I've had relaxers so long that i didn't even know how much damage it does. then i colored my hair and realized that these chemicals really are as damaging as they say.
umm did you say coco butter?! I haven't heard of a natural using coco butter. Let me know if that was a mistake. If not can you tell me the best way to use it?
Naturals use cocoa - shea - or mango butter. But shea is probably the one we hear about most (lol) All of these nut butters can be used as moisturizers.
Yes coco butter is very moisturizing. Just boil the product and whipped it with whatever essential oils you may use. Coco butter, coconut butter, shea butter oil and few drops of rosemary are just fine.
Super duper helpful! This has actually been on my mind because I recently did my BC and I've been doing wash-n-go's on a daily basis. I was thinking about just getting some box braids for the winter time but I know I'm gonna miss my curls like crazy:) lol But it's definitely more important to keep my hair protected. Thanks!
