one i use sometimes, for the bottom card. make a cut with a pinky break and say your mixing up the deck. then riffle through the deck and ask them to say stop (make sure to say that when your close to the break) they say stop, you put down the riffled area and pick up the deck from the break and show them the bottom card which you cut earlier, they will think its where they stopped you.

I can vouch for the "double flip" force. It comes with the David Blaine Mind Reading (marked) Split Spades deck and is called in those instructions the Cut Deeper force. Most people fail to keep track of how the cards will actually align themselves and even when I explained it to someone they couldn't really figure out why it worked.

the force at 2:08 can be done a different way (saw this on scam school). instead of telling them to flip twice, you do the first flip, and you say "i want you to flip the deck just like this" just wanted to put that out there.

That paris in the spring question in the beggining, i've seen it before; i have it in a ripleys book and it says a bird in the the hand. me and my sister stared at it for a half hour, and we still didnt see it! we disregarded it as a trick question! i didnt find out until 3 months laters when my friend showed me. great brain trick!

52 cards = 52 weeks in a year

there are 12 face cards (yes i know theyre king queens and jack) there are 12 mnoths in a year.

@lostsoulparty Actually the number cards add up to 216, unless you are counting the aces as ones. Technically the aces are not number cards. No matter how you add the cards up you will never get 365 as an answer, since there are 4 of each card in the deck. if you multiply any whole number by a even number ie: 4 the result is a even number.

adding up all number cards is 216 (2+3+...+10 = 54 * 4= 216).

Even you give the face cards any value, it's not possible to come to 365, as long as you give them whole number values:

If the sum of all cards would be 365, each suit would have the sum of 365/4= 91,25
