Wow this thing is extremely calm. I caught a rat snake this morning, a juvenile, found hanging out on my back porch. Pretty defensive little snake too and snapped when cornered. All of that ended with a few smashes with the shovel. Humans 1 snakes 0.........
Just kidding I placed it in a bucket for transport out of the townhome complex this weekend. Neighbors are idiots and snakes are kill on sight. The little one is welcome around my home and garden anytime and I hope it sticks around.
this is the kinda stupidity that people have. that show you how incompetent they are and how they have no respect for the animals in their range or even a captive animal.why dont u leave the snakes alone guys because ur stressing out the animal by letting it bite u and making it think its in danger with it probably was with u
Boohoo. Handling any wild or captive snake stresses it, period. Walking up on an animal can stress it. And I can assure you that isn't the worst thing it will face in its life. Actually, the fact it never struck should be evidence enough it wasn't going to be eaten. It was for educational purposes. I worked for a reptile education and relocation company for years. Captivity stresses herps more than anything. Maybe someday you can form complete sentences and have a valid point!
I have the same shirt :-) Nice snake and vid man

Had a Black Rat snake invade the house the other day. It was about 10ft, I wish would have just grabbed it like that and took it outside
