  • Very good footage and editing Luke! I hope to purchase a T2i this year.

  • @WESTCOASTSURFANDTURF Nice. It's a great camera. Thanks! But my name is Alec. Haha.

  • @WESTCOASTSURFANDTURF If you have an extra 100 or so to spend get the T3i

  • The music really fits the video, awesome!

  • The blond at 1:22 seems like a real actor in a film. Interesting face.

  • @conewells haha. she was very tired.

  • Really good. What music? It really complements the image.

  • @projektmetaphor gettysburg by ratatat

  • font name. ? (:

  • @SimpleGamingHero it's the "Far Cry" font. You can find it on google I think.

  • best grade is at time 3:35 the boat deck pan

  • Nice vid! thks 4 sharing!

  • Is this filmed Hilton head?

  • @TheGreatNomad yes. quite a bit actually.

  • did you do any extra tweaking after you used the presets?

  • @fingerboard8710 a little. pretty much nothing though.

  • Amazing..what lens? and adapter if u used any

  • @ARTISTICLYSTUPID thanks. 18-55mm kit lens. (the crappy one) haha

  • You should have stopped by, I'd have shown you around. Great state we have here! Great bbq, too.

  • Sweet vid bro

  • fuck the video where you get that beats.....i like it

  • you can use After Effects to stabilise the image but given how many shots you have it would be quite time consuming... so it's easier to just use a tripod

  • nice candy reel. Don't know what program ur using but they throwing a smooth-cam plugin on some of the shots so make it less shaky

  • what is the best lens for the t2i for doing movie/video

  • @ALKIEWORLD

depends what you need it for.

    wide angle, low light, fisheye...

  • @ALKIEWORLD I would say the best beginner lens would be the 50mm 1.8. it shoots great in low light and it's way sharp!

  • @ElzTanko Hey love the video. I was wondering how you got those crisp/clear lines on the top and bottom of the video. Even at 240p the lines still look perfectly clear. I wanted to ask how or what you did to get that crisp line effects. Other videos that are cropped on the top and bottom always have a blurry transition between the black lines and the video. I just wanted to know if you imported the video to youtube in a special way or did something else to get that effect.

  • @thishitscustom333 thanks. What I did was overlayed a "picture" of the anamorphic letter box in my editing program. All it is a .jpeg with two black bars at the top. Search for it on google if you're confused. "how to add letterboxing to your videos" or something of that nature.

  • I'm guessing this wasn't shot in 24fps?

  • @RichardsMUP Um...I'm thinking that most of it was 30. It's really hard to tell the difference between 24 and 30 :)

  • This is excellent, colour grading is beutifull and the footage is very very nice, one tiny tiny tip is if you try to tell a story by your film.. thats all and incredible video

  • @BenGriffithsFilm that's a good tip. I was just trying to make a montage haha

  • Great shots, really enjoyed this. I got the 50mm 1.8 lens for my t3i yesterday, cant wait to get some videos uploaded with footage like this

  • @RedSpectrumPictures Sick man, Canon T3i + 50mm lens = cheapest and best filmmaking setup! So tell me, what's different about the T3i compared to the T2i?

  • @ElzTanko There a few differences that make the t3i more suitable for the filmmaking side of the camera, not many differences with photos, I think :) Basically with the t3i theres a swivel screen that can be tilted, which is good for filming as you dont always have the camera in front of you. It also has the option to manually change audio recording levels, so audio doesnt peak when recordings. Thats what I can think of from the top of my head :)

  • @RedSpectrumPictures cool man, sounds like a great camera. Thanks!

  • What an asshole!

  • Get a tripod! they will greatly enhance the quality of your videos!!!

  • @thefan12345 yeah i have one. I was too lazy to drag it all the way to North Carolina.

  • @thefan12345 done need a tripod with the right editing techniques. smooth-cam, twister etc...

  • This is so beautiful!

  • salty dog cafe!

  • @mountiefan44 haha, do you live there? Or is it in the video?

  • @ElzTanko it's in the video where you show the pier-like area. I go there every year it's on Hilton Head Island

  • you should use a nd filture when you shoot outside in oveexpose situations. it will give you a deeper richer color when you color grade.

  • @deadcell1 yes, I agree. Thanks for the tip. I still have yet to get one... (procrastination)

  • what lens

  • @B3kWag8ekx1 18-55mm kit lens. Now I have the 50mm 1.8 and it's so much sharper!

  • Once again awesome. I've only been to north and south Carolina once, but it was awesome. I was in Texas this summer. I wish I could have filmed it.

  • That was truly amazing! Subbed!

  • WOW :O epic! now every i see will look 240p forever :l . this needs way more views!

  • @MARATHONcompany haha funny. thanks I wish I could get popular!

  • Is this a re upload? Because I swear I've already seen this epic montage!

  • @ShinyQuasar Yes, I just color graded it and put it in anamorphic aspect ratio.
