Czerny "School of Velocity" Etude No.4 Op.299

These are EXERCISES They need to be practiced very slowly taking care to accurately strike every note cleanly with the correct fingering. Speed comes in time. Far more important to be accurate. I think a lot of people are not seeing the wood for the trees. They are designed to improve & garner technique so that, with appropriate tuition & plenty of practice, you can go on to play Liszt, Chopin & Rachmaninoff.

i think that maybe that person should sit back a little so they have more arm room. overall, i thought it was excellent though well done

You need to study with a metronome, and practice it more.

Whoa I heard someone say "Czerny etude from the school of velocity" and I thought they were using that as a figure of speech but it's an actual set of etudes! Nice, I need to study these!

They were referring to an etude called "Le Chemin de Fer" by Alkan. Check it out.

Oh, and nice playing. Don't worry about anyone saying bad things, it's just a technical study; it's not about performance, it's about refining technique.
