I'm a crazy TLC fan (collectively and individually) and not big on comparing group members or groups..but with Chilli def having the R&B role of the group..do you think that she could have sang the intro to What About Your Friends live at this concert wit it sounding better than T-boz..i know T-boz is def the low register funk r&b of the group, but she killed that intro lol..it's just kind of hard seeing Chilli singing that part n particular and killin it like T-boz did even though she can sing

went to this Fanmail concert...it was the SHIT!!! A lot of people don't know that Lisa was the "creative" mind behind TLC...she picked all the album titles..picked their wardrobe, and even designed the stage for this FANMAIL tour. She was MADD talented!!Who would have thought that Left-Eye knew how to play BEETHOVEN!! RIP Lisa...we will love & miss u forever. U will NEVER be replaced!!

I know you posted your comment on this 5 months ago Lol, but I had to respond to this. You can't compare Destiny's Child to TLC. They are two totally different groups. Destiny's Child is R&B/Pop and TLC is R&B/Hip Hop. You can however compare Blaque to them. They're similar. Both of them each have one rapper in the group and they do alot of dancing. Destiny's child is more elegant and classy. I love both groups though. Couldn't compare them even if I was asked to.

i think you can compare them no matter what genre they're in. TLC had more versatility, originality, and overall talent if you asked me. Sure, DC could sing better, but TLC made more definitive original music. They were also better trendsetters.

that depends on who you ask. I think they were both huge girl groups which is why one's name comes up when you mention the other. DC has their style and TLC has their signature style. I think a sucessful girl group is when each girl is obviously different from eachother. Which is why groups like Cherish, Jade, Isyss, and other groups i can't remember didn't last.
