I remember that the American ScrewAttack site did a "video game vault" on this game and they liked it compared to AVGN's justified hatred of the NES game(which I also thought was shit)!
Good video and good job. I use to get so frustrated with this game but one day i completed it without much effort. Played on it recently and have to admit i did the same as you on Stage 2 (with the ladder) so that made me laugh.
I saw this and Moonwalker in a flea market for $5 each, but my dad wouldn't let me get it (and i had the money) because one of our friends had borrowed the genesis! (and we got it back 2 months later) :(
@ScrewAttackEurope Takayuki Nakamura composed the music to this awesome game.
This game just goes to show you what talented Japanese game developers are capable of when they make licensed games. In fact they make them BETTER than Non-Japanese developers.
@ScrewAttackEurope Exactly! Konami had DC Comics,Warner Bros and Hasbro franchises. Capcom had Disney, and Marvel Comics franchises. Taito should've had the Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Mattel, UFC, WWF,and McFarlane Comics franchises, but they did not, and Hudson Soft should've had 20th Century Fox's franchises, as well as Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Animation, Other Cartoon Studios and Dark Horse, Image and Valiant Comics franchises, but they did not.
It really ANGERS me that Europeans, Canadians, Americans, and Australians WILL NOT LET talented Japanese developers do games on THEIR Franchise and decide to have CRAPPY-ASS NON-JAPANESE developers do the licensed games. Because of this they look and play like shit.
Hmm...I don't know if Sega did the Master System version of Dick Tracy. All I know is that BanDai published the NES version while Radical Entertainment, a NON-JAPANESE developer, done the game.
how many you paid in this mega drive? its well conserved you, plus a thing as that you record these videos you uses some camera? , if yes how many you it paid in it therefore I am pressizando of one

I LOVED The MD version of Dick Tracy as a kid, I'd go as far as to say it's probably in the top ten best movie licenses!
(then again it's not really that hard to do so as most of them are shit) Blah blah GoldenEye, Blah Blah Chronicles of Riddick.

@MysticArksRevenge Oh indeed, they should be hired more often.
Did they also do the MAster System version as well? That wasn't as good. but that was more hardware limitations.
