This is one of my favorite nocturnes. And while I love the complete piece, from 6:10 till the end, it is absolutely indescribably beautiful. The last two chords are just the definition of beauty.
Yeah, such a profoundly simple cadence. I love it, too! What I also love is how that upward rise is 7 notes in the right hand per 6 notes in the left, so they don't line up in this really amazing way. But I'm not sure how precisely I pulled it off lol
Ok I'm smiling as I write this because I can see your point, but still, ok , this is the moment I feel! And so, why shouldn't I just go for it and do something heartfelt and unique? Even if it's what you wouldn't do. Great music can stand up to a great number of different interpretations!
Chopin is much more then " ear candy " for me , he emulates the struggles of life emotionally , moralistically. He is my ying to my own yang.

Beautiful rendition.
Did you know Chopin was an opium addict?
Care to guess what opium feels like?
This song.

I think this is my favorite of yours. I especially love the bit about 4:15.

This is one of my favorite. I would say that the tune is more romantic than just sweet. You play very well.
