@jerseydevildog thanks man, super easy to shoot both eyes open with a red dot or holo sight. scope is a little more difficult but it all gets done by me. (not pistol yet unfortunately though)
love the smith n wesson M&P line however 22's are cheap for throwing lead but here the .223 model against the one you have is only $150 more.... since i have my remi 597 for 22 fun i think when it comes time i do purchase a AR platform it will either be the smith n wesson M&P or the remi R-25 sporting/tactical .223
@1gamoguy ya .223 is a little too expensive for me to shoot regularly, and besides, here in canada centerfire rifles are only allowed a max of 5 rounds per magazine.. Sort of pointless for rapid fire or close quarters drills if you ask me..
@drewbaby20 thats crazy, but its not much better here in NY we are only allowed mag capacity of 10 rounds, HOWEVER if you find a mag at a gunshow here that is 30rd+ capacity you can buy it and own it, catch 22?? lol as far as when it comes to hunting, if its a semi auto you are only allowed 5 rounds, and for waterfowl your shotgun, if its semi or pump needs a plug put in the tube mag to only allow 3 shells.... wierd how they come up with these rules and regulations, lil pointless if you ask me
@1gamoguy ya for pistols in canada its a mag capacity of 10 rounds.. its a little nicer for you since if its only for hunting you can only have 5 rounds with us its all the time.. same thing goes for shotguns with us.. 3 rounds. unless of course its for home defense of clay shooting, i think you can have as many rounds as you want..
@drewbaby20 yea outside of waterfowl you can have as many shells as the tube mag can hold, my benelli still has the factory tube mag on it so if i use 3 1/5" shells for waterfowl i dont need a tube plug, all she will hold is 3 shells of 3 1/2" but like i say though as long as you can hit your target there really is no need for more rounds, but it sure is fun!
@GroundedSST you can purchase a rifle with a collapsable stock or folding stock if its preban as well, now as far as the mags having to be preban, a friend of mine have purchased some mag pul items for his AR last summer at a gunshow here in NY and along with it was a 30 round mag, was a set he said all items were new.... one day we will get our puppets out of office and get this state back to how it was not to long ago, other than that i hunt, and shoot rec. so 30 round mag is not needed
@GroundedSST HOWEVER so no one takes my comment the wrong way, just because a 30 round mag or any mag capacity may seem to much, or overkill as the anti gun nuts will put it, it should still be OUR choice, just another example of the law abiding gun owner getting fucked so some puppet can make a name for themselves
