it wouldn't be able to handle it, it would lagg to mutch with a very low framerate, The processor isent good enough. But for the 3gs they could make some better grapihchs for sure they just dont want to couse they will lose money if they putt it out for the 3gs only :P

@Roxaspwns360 yea it can be done... its actually easy for the developers. But it wont run smoothly on an iphone 3g, 2g, or ipod touch 1g or 2g. Maybe iphone 3gs... but they want it to be compatible with every device. No point in having insanly high graphics, but laggy gameplay..

The graphics chip could not run the strings it would take to have such a graphics intence game, and the processor, NOW only still 1ghz on the Iphone 4, still couldn't run this. I mean, it's an interesting idea, but it's not possible. But very high graphics games could run on it. Pretty much...any game from around very early 2006? Remember Grand Theft Auto, San Andreas? That can no doubt run on the new Iphone.

@Roxaspwns360 Well, Ipad HD is only slightly better, and still worse than San Andreas. The Iphone could run games with much, much better graphics, if you just gave up the couple gigabytes it would take to get the graphics to fit in with a really long game.

@Roxaspwns360 Oh, and I've been looking at micro processors for a while now. By Iphone 5g, which is most likely coming next year, you will be able to run Call of Duty 4 on lowest to medium settings. Maybe on the ipod touch 4g, coming in fall, since apple tends to update it further than the iphone. In two years, Iphone 6g will be able to run games of 2010 on lowest settings. Tech is advancing VERY fast.
