I think this must be an early performance by Boris. He has a naturally beautiful voice, and (although I don't understand the language) you can tell that he is a good actor and relates directly to his audience. That said, his technique needs improvement at this stage. His breathing and diaphragm control are not there, so he lacks power and accuracy of pitch. But I believe he feels that acting is more important.
