i thought the steering wheel in the civic type r, 04:17, would only work in the intregra? i asked japanese dealers and they said it wouldn't fit the EK chassis
????????
how would a Civic Type R Steering wheel not fit a EK???
where the non srs steering wheel of the civic and integra look similar, the dealer couldn't understand my question, though i clearly asked for the civic steering wheel.
he said the integra one would work in a eg chassis but not the ek. he said nothing about the ek having a non srs wheel.
Funny how none of the top two cars ever made any good headway in touge battles that the s2000 is competing in.I am so tired of these biased races for new cars
this has Waves inside the Sump that Stops the oil from Flying around side to side and makes it more centre near the Oil Pick up. you want notice a differance really apart from that your Engine will Last longer when used around Fast Corning, Expecesally if you have Slick Tyres which makes the car Grip like fuck and Throws the Oil about Alot!!
The S2K was driven by Keiichy Tsuchiya and finnisched in second Place right behind the Integra. If you take a look at 3:17min , you can sse that he had to start from way behind, `coz he got`s the best Power to weight ratio.
The F20C is a monster of an NA motor, and to put it in such a well balanced chassis was a greater achievement. Sadly most manufacturers don't come up with such ideas anymore.
my sisters boyfriend has a toyota celica i told him hondas are better he just sez ye but they break easy this proves even the 1.6 civic batters a toyota celica non turbo
@ahsoon6 you don't know jack about either celica or altezza. Toyota put forth no effort in making those cars track ready like honda did for theirs. First off the 2000+ celica's got a weak engine. Second a 207hp engine 4 cyl engine in a 3,000 pound altezza is not a good combo. Put a 99 celica celica SS-III in one of these races and it would be a completely different story
@cypress101 But toyota didnt put the extra effort in and honda did, thus honda created faster more agile track cars.. thats the final act, i love toyota's and i have owed a couple but the honda's are better cars here in this range when it comes to track, however i am sure the altezza is more comfortable to drive and so is the celica.
if you are going to do high miles per day perhaps the toyota's are better for driver fatigue, however short trips the honda's would be more fun.
what are the 2 modification he recommends? racing brake pads and what ? something with oil pan?
PhuTube714 8 months ago
@PhuTube714 an oil-pan with baffles..reduces chance of oil starvation under high-g loads.

The Civic EK9 and S2K don't look obsolete even at this time. That is one reason I love Honda.

This is a great documentary. Not a lot of technical mumbo jumbo, but they talk about the vital specs, and a lot of racing action...

@miatageekscott let the racing do the talking...right?

honda is NA king

altezza are really heavy too though, and they're is no high per. model with weight reduction and the extensive tuning the type-r's get

If so, why is the AE86 known as the "Civic Killer"? I'll tell you one thing, it has far more to do than with just the sales figures of both vehicles.
