@t688578 well u do see dino jr, not this version when mascis was a bit off his head and being a bit egotisitical, the original bass rejoined and now they are better than ever
It's kind of cool to see J using guitars that aren't Jazzmasters, let's us know that he uses them because he knows their sick tone and also knows how good other guitars can be too.
@JeanClaudeHotDamn Heh well he said that he just got so used to using the Jazzmaster originally that he couldn't play anything on his first 3 albums without it... but on these albums after they got a new bassist he started experimenting with other instruments... on this album in particular you can even hear keyboards and lapsteel on some songs...
@t688578 actually, now (illegal) downloading has rendered back catalogs worthless, you can see see quite a lot of these bands playing live again, many of them in their preferred lineups as well, to bridge a forthcoming pension gap. At least this is one side-effect of the new austerity we can all rejoice in.
@googoplexable Damn straight and with Lou Barlow back it really completes Dinosaur Jr... and J's guitar work is absolutely mind blowing now... I mean even more than it was back than... and it's not like they're just back to the old Dinosaur Jr. Beyond and Farm, besides being some of their bast albums, are probably the most innovative albums yet...<.<
Awesome band, really underrated but incredible real.

@t688578 Ironically, such a good year was followed by one of the worst music's ever had: Kurt Cobain killed himself, and Justin Bieber was born.
