For all those comments saying this is a stupid American thing - Please note there are the same symbols on our card in the UK. We (I) have not used the feature; like the reporter said, but the technology is already with us. It is being advertised as a fun easy way to purchase, maybe while on a rollercoaster while heading to work for instance. Also that was a crude mock up after making this or seeing this some1 will make a wand or probe stopping the need to put the whole kit close to the target.

I am surprised the online order was successful. I order online a lot and the sale always gets rejected if I make an error in my personal info. But again, I would catch an unauthorized sale by checking my credit card account record, which is so easy to do online...you catch fraudulent charges easily and quickly.

I called Chase after watch this video and this damn bank doesn't seem to care much for the prevention of such device for their customers. I advised her about this electronic pickpocketing that I saw online and asked the bank to remove that "waving" feature off my card, she said "the bank can't do anything about it. The bank can file a fraudulent charges on your behalf if there is one". This damn Chase bank just interested in getting your money but not a solution to help solve the problems.
