Great! How did the left hand chords ope for you?? I am playing this piece at the moment and the left hand chords are hard! ANY tips on playing this ???Reply back when you can! Thanks!
@MusicClassical1 Hi, I think it's a little late, but anyway... I suggest you practice only the left hand jumps first and when you feel kinda confident, try to add the right hand melody. Keep doing this for small sections at a time. Good luck =)
I've got a Roland 700GX, which is a stage piano (so there are a lot of effects, but the Piano, E-Piano and Organ sounds are best, the rest is just a great bonus)
the Keys are wodden and feel nearly the same as Ivory keys from a real keyboard, but they are still a little bit softer to play.
it costed 3000€ including Speakers (Yamaha Stagepass 500S, which i alos use for my e-guitar)
@xnp70 just try to get the keyboards with the full piano key. if u look at the keys at eye level and its those thin keys that make that poppy noise when you push it, u shouldnt get it. the full key keyboards are awesome
dude u have skills u got he right tone of it plus u just need more practice and u can beat yun di li :) im playing this too also i just studied a year on piano but still im finding it hard to pay on the most last part of it ..just keep more pratice so with me :)
I can't believe you've only been playing for a year when you recorded this! Great! Now that it's under your fingers, you can have even more fun with it: add some push/pull throughout (you are at the end of phrases, but I think a little more would be nice). But, hey, it's up to you. How you hear it is how you play it!
Thank you! Yes, I'm self-studying. First I learnt how to read music notation with music theory books and made my way through the sheet music. The longest part is the practical one, since you have to practice and practice until you can play the entire piece by memory. I think that's it. Regards.
hey niceee pall!! love it... Chopin is the best.. by the way can i ask you something about this piano, does the keys have a sensitive touch i mean if you oush the harder the sound comes louder and stuff! thankss by the way keep it up! you are gonna be a great pianist!
Thanks, I wish I could become a great performer, but it's just a free time dream...
Yes, the P70 has sensitive keys and it has weighted keys too, which means that low bass keys are heavier than high treble keys, just like an acoustic one (well, almost).
this is officially weird... I watched this video right after your moonlight sonata and I played this too on the PX110 though. today. its like you play all the same songs as me.
funny im learning that song right now and its the second song ive been learning. if you havent already learned it moonlight sonata is amazing or fur elise
Excellent attempt, you have a very nice style, in your playing, and for 11months thats very impressive. Did you learn from sheet music, or by listening and playing? Can you read notated music?
no problem- just keep on working and don't give up. if you want another piece by chopin that's more upbeat, try Mazurka in b-flat (Op 7, No. 1 or 2, i forget)
I suggest you play a lot with hands separate, until the playing becomes almost automatic. Try to eliminate technical problems playing hands separate and only then try playing with both hands, very slowly. Try bar after bar, and don't hurry trying to learn everything at once. Remember that if you learn how to play this once, you will be able to play this for the rest of your life, so there's no need to rush.
I hope this helps. Come back and tell me how you're doing.
pretty good attempt. im surprised youve only been playing for 11 months. be sure to work on the dynamics. There would be parts where its supposed to be p (pianissimo), but you play it kinda in mf (mezzo forte). Also, I think you should slow it down a little, and emphasize certain parts like the trills. Play it less waltzy. Next, use the pianissimo pedal. It helps when youre trying to make a quieter sound. Also, remember to emphasize the melody, and play with emotion.
use more pedal (damper) to connect it all together. but GREAT JOB for self-teaching.. im playing this in a citywide and statewide competition this year. this is really great for self-teaching.. oh wait i already said that :-) but anyways great job.
wow it´s amazing how u play!i´ve been practicing this song... but actually i just can do some part with the right hand, it´s hard to use the left for me.... i want to ask u if u can play it again but to film it from up, like kind of high, showing good both hands, specially the left... u r a great artis bye and thanks
wow thats amazing! you're so good and all from memory too. i really admire how you play. i wish i could play with both hands! i can barely just play the right melody theres a tutorial on my yamaha dgx620, and i love this nocturne! well done!! i really ought to start practicing everyday. did you learn right and left at the same time?
wow!! i love this song !! im also playing this piece but i have a problem!! my organ is not complete! it only have 5 octaves!! wahhh!! wish you luck to what you are playing now!!
Do the keys on the P-70 feel like a real grand piano ? Like the weight and resistance of the keys ? I'm asking because I'm thinking of getting one for my son.
wow, you actually memorised the whole thing. I did memorised one of Bach's pieces but I've been neglecting my practice and wow...I forgot how to play it now..haha. ok..now you can start saving up for a proper bench to sit on :) Looking forward to more of your performances.
I got mine today, and after playing for about 4 hours, let me tell you its beyond a cheap acoustic piano. The keys are very close to a real piano, and the sound is astounding
Which is harder, this or Mozart piano concerto 21?

How are the keys compared to a real piano ?
I am looking for a simple digital piano that feels like a real one. Is this a good option in that sense ?
tks

Yes, I like Yamaha pianos very much, they sound pretty much realistic and the keys, at least for me, are good enough. I recommend.

Thanks for the tips =) The only tip I can not follow is to use the soft pedal... I only have the sustain pedal.
I hope I can take a better shot at it, since I'm playing this piece for almost a year already. Time flies...
garnetfanx2 2 years ago

You self learned that? Impressive ^^
Just something I notice though...if you can susteno a little more between far notes, the piece would definitely be much smoother and nicer.
Just my opinion ^^
