also, anyone who is saying gta IV sucks, just, stop. obviously there's bias since this is a SR video, but, this is coming from someone who is unbiased, I thoroughly enjoyed GTA IV, and SR series, the same, They are good for what they are, they are completely different, and try to accomplish different goals. SR is over the top sandbox madness, and GTA takes on a more realistic, serious feel.

I've got to fall in the SR2 camp. It's much, much more fun game than GTA4. SR2 is funny, a blast and completely addictive. I get bored with the GTA games and never end up finishing them. I've played through all the SR2 missions and still keep coming back again and again to play in its open sandbox world. If gaming is about having a good time doing ridiculous stuff, then this game shines.

i love both GTA and SR2, but as far as the story and the things you can do SR i better the only thing i think GTA is better in is the is the controls. other then that SR2 is better in evryway, u decide ur gangs style, cars, the look of ur house, you get to do hold-ups, kidnaping, etc....

Even though this game is often compared to GTA as inferior, i personally think its much better. I love the storylines and the gangs of the city. The customization of everything also adds to the fun. In my opinion, the gameplay is just better fullstop.

if you have just bought a PS3 or Xbox 360, I recommend this game, more than any other game, even if this was at $59.99, it would be a great price. But now it's only $17.99! Xbox 360 owners should buy this, and the first Saints Row, play the first one first, and then play the second one. PS3 owners should watch the videos of SR1, then play SR2. But back on topic, it's so much fun, and it's a great shelf stuffer, and if you're bored with your new $59.99 purchase, then put this in the console. :)

I can't belive I went ahead and purchased this game last night. I am so god damn disopointed!

The game engine looks like somthing from the dawn of the PS2 era. Reminded me more of Driver 2 or Driver 3... Mixed with a bit of sims.

Overall, it was terrible. Nothing looked good. The cars looked like side kicks from games in PS1 games.

Guys Saints Row 2 is more comparable to GTA San Andreas, not GTAIV. IV was made with a different approach than SA and SR2. IV attempted to have more realism and break into the next gen consoles with better graphics and story lines. SA and SR2 were both made to run around and bend some of the rules of reality to have fun.
