  • I thought this song was sung by Khursheed as picturised.

I was only ii yrs old. I maybe wrong

    Thanks Mirza Saheb

  • this song is not sung by khursheed but sitaaraa baayee kaanpuree. the song was written by josh malihabadi a very popular poet ...of india who shifted to pakistan

  • I remember there was a song "pardesi kyon yaad aata hai". If anyone have that.

  • @IMIRZA777SHE IS NOT SITARA DEVI AND SITARA BAI SHE IS SITARA KANPURI

  • @IMIRZA777

There were two Sitaradevi connected with Hindi Film. One: Sitaradevi- A Dancer. Another Sitaradevi Kanpuri -A Singer. This most candidly sung song was sung by Sitaradevi Kanpuri, but on 78 RPM Gramophone Record credit was given to NINA (a heroin of the film) and film was produced in 1944. I (1938 born) remember having seen this movie and was possessing a gramophone record but lost in a tragic incident. I sincerely wish, some one uploads its video clip.
