Ah, this website has a lot of valuable insight.

The thing is, I'm more into energy work than spirituality. I'm a very spiritual person, don't get me wrong. I meditate every day and constantly practice energy control. I am very interested in advancing these abilities. Does spirituality correspond with how well you can use these abilities? I used energy work to try to manipulate the Kundalini energy, which is how I found God. I realize it's an energy beyond my control

What you are referencing is psychical not spiritual. Psychical powers and energy controlling is a thing of the mind. This is mere illusion. Go beyond and discover if there is pure energy that is holy. Awaken of all motives of self-aggrandizement and gain. question if you found God.

@linsildiedar I just feel as if there are no limits as to what the human mind is capable of. Manipulation.. That is not my intention at all. When I say manipulate the kundalini, I mean using energy control to try to raise it, in order to enlighten myself without spiritual advancement. I feel it was wrong. I have learned from it, as the energy is not intended for personal desires. I have no desire of control or power, only unlocking my minds full potential and getting closer to God.

@ExtraSensoredBrain Yes. On ones journey, there comes certain powers. But, once you awaken, such things seem childish, meaningless. I developed intense power of healing hands, unconsciously. Did great healings. But, once the full awakening came, it was just so trivial, I subjugated it. In meditation, let mind flow. Only observe the mind and question: what is the WITNESS that is observing the mind? To be unwise, one seeks illusion. To be wise, one listens to intelligence.

@ExtraSensoredBrain Exactly. Not finished. When it happens, no one will have to tell you. It will be beyond a shadow of a doubt. All things vanquish and the real is all there is. Kriyas are surgery. Spiritually, you have to be completely empty. So the intelligence within first aims to clean you out so the eternal essence may enter your being. First, free yourself before trying to free others. Your question contains the answer: manipulative.

The killer of the desire is the desire. the ego being divided tries to control another part of the mind, never knowing it is the ego itself. so, to know thyself is the key. You're saying my personal ego has changed from wanting to control the energy to my advantage, to trying to help others; but it's still ego because it's manipulation of something natural? I can still very slightly feel the kriyas, but not to the extent that it was. After this cleansing and transformation is done, how does this completion feel mentally and physically? How does it feel being present in body?

If someone tells you, then that is only an idea. if i tell you, then you will only have an image. an image is not the real. not the reality. Truth is not a feeling that one can take hold of and cherish. it is beyond words. It is discovering you are not someone in life, YOU ARE LIFE!

@shobyms I mean, when at once you discover Life beyond this life, all things become seen as trivial. This living essence is beyond anything the mind as psychical or otherwise can ever dream of. It transcends the mind as thought. All things are seen as superficial when you awaken to the real. In the light of intelligence, all powers are seen as trivial and the continuity of the false living. So, you ask oneself, why would you want the false when you enter the divine reality? understand?

I'm a practicing psion. I've been into the art for about 5 months. Crazy and unexplainable things have been happening to me lately. One of which I believe is a Kundalini awakening. I was grounding myself to the earth, and as she was returning the energy, I felt an energy at the base of my spine.. Now here's where I messed up.. I put my hands over my crown chakra and tried to pull the energy through my body.. Now, my head has been slithering like a snake for days. I've read premature awakening

As a TM practioner & a Siddha I can concur with what's happenning here to some of these people. There bodies have experienced a release of kundalini shakti & are to an extent spontanously practcing Hatha Yoga.

This is "purification & correction" as the gurus would term it & should eventually dissappear - so I am assured. I think of it as nervous energy which kicks in as soon as I sit down to meditate.

As someone living with a spontaneous kundalini awakening, I can assure you that (a) Kundalini is an energy that is infinitely more intelligent than the body it inhabits and is awakened at exactly the right time adn not one second before that. Good luck with the awakening. I hope you arent doing it just to get the superhero powers. there is a lot more to it than that. the powers and their desire is something your ego wants, but assuming you are successful in awakening the power, the ego itself will be dissolved and with it, your sense of self as a narrow and limited being. enjoy and surrender to it and dont offer resistance and ask for petty things like powers. these will just be obstructions in the process.

Its expected for people lacking the blessing of Kundalini to take a negative attitude towards it. This phenomena is universal and occurs in all times and places, wherever Devotion to God is cultivated; including Christian cultures. Kundalini is never harmful. Any discormfort it may bring will be temporary, and for your own good.

The only people that get into trouble with Kundalini are those that try to manipulate it. If one just leaves it be one will not be harmed. And, how do I know? Because I've experienced the same symptoms, during meditation, as these people are displaying so many times now that I've lost count.
