@5gen67to10camaro stock engine, but the boost is turned up some & removed catalytic conv & egr, 2000 rpm stall & shift kit, a few other tricks too. stock et is 16.5-17 sec 1/4 mile. this runs quite a bit better than stock.
@scottc72 i have an 81 turbo i remover the egr had the heads worked some run 15 to 17 lbs of boost removed all the wires except the temperature sender and sensor i got a shift kit and i removed the ac the whole exhaust except the down pipe and from there i have a glass pack i got a hei distributor with vacuum advance and its curved i put a holley 650 double pump with a 1 inch spacer i removed the smog pump and i added a boost gauge to my hood scoop cause the previous owner cut the wires for the
@5gen67to10camaro sounds nice. whats it run in the 1/4? boost is only at 10 on mine for now, i know it can go to 15 safely. i also gutted the air pump & removed the coolant lines to the carb plenum. this is a daytona 500 pacecar edition so its not a race car, just a nice driver with some respectable power. i have a 78 6.6 4 speed too. love the 2nd gens!!
@scottc72 im guessing 12 but not exactly sure i forgot to add it has a mild cam too this is my first car im not trying to make it a full race car just bolt on parts and removing things that restrict it except the cam the head i got from the guy who sold my the engine when i got it it had a spun bearing in the number one cylinder and the engine i had had a cracked block so i have half the parts from one and half from the other i even reused the rocker arm nuts and i only had one come loose
@scottc72 turbo lights i never got a chance to run it yet because i am about finished with the restoration i need a windshield and to install my ttops and trim pieces and a little more paint i built the whole car in a tent in my driveway after i get my glass them in registering it and getting it inspected and heading to the track
