ok.... this is not "crashing your computer on start-up". If it were, you would not be able to log on to the machine. The XP start-up screen would not even load. It is simply sending your computer a code that is telling it to shut it down.

I had one like that before. I just pressed F8 during startup and loaded boot manager and took out anything that looked suspicious. I don't even know how I got it. My internet was down for like 2 weeks and suddenly this virus popped out of no where and nearly destroyed my computer.
